I didn't know Dan Harmon went through a divorce between seasons. That may have some affect.

I laughed my arse off at the three little guys running out of the machine. That's the little details that make this show so great

That was one of the funniest moments of the series. Other than that, just an OK episode.

Probably not, they weren't even married a year and it was amiable enough that she stuck around for shite like Harmonquest. He's honestly just kinda nuts and possibly on the spectrum.

Harmon does kind of seem like a miserable dude.

This episode was very weak. I agree that season 3 expectations were probably unattainable but IMO they are 2/5 right now with solid episodes.

Not a bad episode. I liked most of it. Episode was better than 2 and 3 but not as good as 1 and 4.

It had some awesome moments but it's again just dragged down by all the in your face divorce therapy emotional problems.

I agree. They need to move on from that with the quickness. It's not really something that needs to be dragged out all season. Maybe it's just me, but the adventures work better when Rick & Morty are together. I like it better when Summer or Jerry are the third wheel as opposed to the focus.

I liked it for the most part, but how the hell does Rick not guess Jerry is trying to kill him. The kid shooting his sister and 3 guys running out we're definitely some of the high points.

I liked it, though the divorce theme is getting old.

Improvements that should have been no-brainers this episode:

- Rick knows all along that Jerry is trying to kill him, does all that anyway because he's teaching Jerry a lesson that YOU CANT MESS WITH HIM BITCH HES RICK frickING SANCHEZ AND YOU BETTER GROVEL AND BEG FOR MERCY

- Summer's story ends in pointlessness, not learning a lesson and togetherness.

Planning on watching again tonight, as all episodes of R&M are better the 2nd time. But I was not impressed with last night. Definitely in the B tier of episodes this season along with 2 and 3. They did a good job with a lot of the random side jokes, but the over all plot just wasn't good.

I think a big reason why Vindicators 3 hit it out of the park for me was the side characters. Some of my favorite episodes of Rick and Morty are those that introduce the random zany characters that we never see again. It just adds another layer to the show.

This is my favorite show of all time and I just think this season is just very subpar.

It's okay though it's still great, it was basically impossible to keep the quality going.

This is basically the sophomore slump. Just look at seasons 1 and 2 as one full season.

Nuts and bolts...Harmon is a choke job artist. He flames out spectacularly when he gets a hit and finds a way to sabotage his work. Did it with Community, doing it with Rick and Morty.

That last episode just pissed me off. What do you want from us Dan? Are you begging to talk to us about something? It's not even subtext, it's obvious you're going through something and you're dragging us with you and you've hired the right writers for the job apparently.

This isn't fun anymore man. Either pull the trigger or give us back random adventures where the cliff hangers were the feelings.
