Yep. The squirrels made them, and Morty had his mind erased to forget it. We just don't know if the rest of the family was drug along this time.

The way Summer is acting I can't imagine they left her behind. 5 minutes seems like enough time for Rick to gather everyone.

Does it really matter? Prior to this we never knew they switched again. Who is to say we are still blind to a few more switches?
They never brought any of the family along with them before, I'm sure this was the same.

Also it seems like they have Summer with them. No way Rick trains Summer every time they switch that good. She knew exactly what to do with the Mindblowers fiasco.

Also what they did was open up the possibility that they have reset before. Especially considering Rick already had a failsafe "scenario" system and kit to fix the damage and Summer seemed to be very familiar with it.
This basically allows them to go anywhere, do anything, and even go back and have entire episodes which can be erased by the end.

This Summer has really gone out on a limb for Rick and Morty. I'm a bit more indifferent to Beth and Jerry, but I don't think it would be hard for Rick to find a scenario where the whole family was killed by something stupid Rick did. And it has to have occured this season due to getting this dimesion's original Rick's portal gun.

Season 3 has really hit its stride in the last 2 episodes. Loved several of Morty's memories in this one, especially the squirrels

Agreed. At this point, the majority of the season has been good and we've gotten some great moments in the show's history (Rick's prison escape, Pickle Rick and Jaguar, Evil Morty president). Curious to see if the latter shows up again in the finale.
