Well thought out explanation. Irrefutable.

the first episode with Babu Bhatt is as racially problematic as the character's other appearances — but despite itself, "The Café" earns a high ranking because George's I.Q. test scam is one of the funniest grifts he’s ever run. "People think I'm smart, but I'm not smart but not that smart."

Racially problematic? It's a comedy. Let go of your feelings and laugh.

And, FWIW, i liked that episode. One of my favorites is Kenny Rogers Roasters. But trying to pick a favorite episode is like trying to pick a favorite child.

The fact that it was racically problematic is why it was so funny, cool your jets, hoss.

I don't have children but this is like asking who's your favorite son/daughter.

Other than the first two episodes, Season 4 was my favorite. I would say it had the most classic episodes IMO.

So hard to pick just one. The Little Kicks is one of my favorites.

The Nightman cometh.

No really it's a toss-up between the 'The Contest', 'The Label Maker' and 'The Soup Nazi'

I think "The Maid" might be my favorite:

quote:

Jerry: Well,where are you?
Cosmo Kramer: I'm at the corner of first, and first. Wait a minute. How can the same street intersect with itself? I must be at the nexus of the universe!

quote:

George Costanza: Jerry, I've been thinking. I've gone as far as I can with "George Costanza".
Jerry Seinfeld: Is this the suicide talk or the nickname talk?

quote:

Elaine Benes: [Taking about Jerry's relationship with his maid] Have you gone out?
Jerry Seinfeld: Yes! We have!
Elaine Benes: Where?
Jerry Seinfeld: To the store.
Elaine Benes: What, to get cleaning supplies?
Jerry Seinfeld: A-and gum!
Elaine Benes: Oh, that's nice. Nothing's more satisfying than diddlin' the maid and chewing some gum.

quote:

GEORGE: But I was thinking...T-bone.

JERRY: But there's no "t" in your name. What about G-bone?

GEORGE: There's no G-bone.

JERRY: There's a g-spot.

GEORGE: That's a myth.

quote:

KRAMER: Listen. Heads up, Elaine. I'm gonna have to stop by later and pick up a fax.

ELAINE: At work?

KRAMER: No. At your apartment.

ELAINE: I don't have a fax machine.

KRAMER (to Elaine) Are ya sure you don't have one? Because there's a lot of stuff in my apartment I've never seen.

ELAINE: Then maybe you have a fax machine.

KRAMER: You just blew my mind.

quote:

PHONE MAN: Look, I work for the phone company. I've had a lot of experience with semantics, so don't try to lure me into some maze of circular logic.

ELAINE: You know, I could've killed you, and no one would've known.

PHONE MAN: I could've killed you, and no one would've known.

quote:

JERRY: Hey, T-bone!

GEORGE: No. No T-bone.

JERRY: No T-bone?

KRAMER (from bathroom): Hey, is that T-bone?!

JERRY: No! There's no T-bone!

KRAMER: Well, why no T-bone?!

JERRY: Why no T-bone?

GEORGE: 'Cause Neil Watkins from accounting is T-bone!

quote:

GEORGE: You're sleepin' with the maid?

JERRY: Yes.

GEORGE: I've done that. Did you ever eat an ostrich burger?

JERRY: No.

quote:

JERRY: Kramer, maybe this relationship isn't for you.

KRAMER: Oh, yeah? So what am I supposed to do, be more like you? All sealed up in here, emotionally unavailable, paying scrubwomen for sexual favors! No! Jerry, I won't be like you! Never! I'll never be like you!

quote:

BOY: Gammy!

ELAINE: No. You got the wrong number, kid.

BOY: Gammy Krantz, it's your grandson Bobby. Why haven't you called?

ELAINE: Oh...nuts.

BOY: Do you hate me 'cause of my lazy eye?

The Chinese Restaurant

It defines what Seinfeld is all about....a show about nothing. Seriously, a 23 minute episode about three people waiting to be seated at a restaurant.
