Office Space is a good one for 90s-00s because not only was it a great comedy but the commentary on American business is about as perfect a subject for modern satire as you could find

Groundhog Day is another one I'd mention. It is just a near perfect movie. Not only is it funny as hell and enjoyable on that level... it also has moments of character introspection or drama that also work

American Pie spawned a resurgence of the sex comedy but it wasn't truly original - just new to the generation of people watching movies who missed the prior versions of AP

Zombieland is the latest one that I think has a chance.

and while I don't know if it will hold up well or not Tropic Thunder is one of the funniest movies I've seen in the past few years.

Dodgeball got the 1st ballot because it spawned a renewal of dodgeball leagues and tournaments

Napoleon Dynamite b/c of all the spoofs, merch, and one liners. Plus they just rolled out a cartoon based on rehashing every scene.

Bad Santa because most Christmas flicks suck the big one and this one does not.

Shrek and Ice Age, for the kiddos but still pretty good. Not my cup of tea but very cute.

I loved Knocked Up more for the comedy than the story, Super Bad I knew from the first trailer I saw months before it came out that It'd be a classic, but I just don't see it lasting. It's kinda crappy when it plays on cable. Hot Fuzz totally forgot about it. The rest are good but I think they'll just fade away like anythng Dane Cook.

BORAT

i don't know if it's going to grow as a classic film but out of all the movies mentioned none of them made me laugh harder than Borat did.
