I recently picked up on Nate Bargatze and looked up his stuff and watched his special. Something about his style really resonated with me. Good stuff.

I loved his first album for a while, listened to it over and over. Then he released All Together and I decided that I preferred him stoned over him coked out. Listened to a bit of his other one and decided I was over it.
His "pet cemetery" joke from Grill Marks made me pee myself, though.

Haven't seen his name here yet, but Jake Johannsen was probably one of the funniest comedians I've ever seen live.
Katt Williams sucks - never heard anything remotely funny from that a-hole.

Great mention.
By the way, am I the only person who doesn't understand the love for Patton Oswalt?

Stand up that sucks:
David Cross
Nick Offerman (hilarious, but very bad at stand up)
Ricky Gervais
Rosie O'Donnel
Bob Saget
Gabriel Iglesias
Jeff Dunham (I typed in "ventriloquist idiot" to find him)
Dane Cook
David Spade
George Lopez
Carlos Mencia
Bill Burr
Gilbert Gottfried
Robin Williams
Rosanne Barr
Jim Jeffries
Stand Up That's Good:
Aziz Ansari
George Carlin
Sarah Silverman (Slightly funny, but interesting and clever with potential)
Louis C.K.
Mitch Hedberg
Dave Chappelle
Lewis Black
Mel Brooks
Wanda Sykes
Chris Rock
Katt Williams
I'm missing plenty on both lists, and I'm sure there will be disagreement. Add yours.
I haven't seen Nick Offerman's stand-up, so I can't comment on that, but if you think David Cross sucks at stand-up, you're a fricking idiot. Particularly if you think Katt Williams is good. And frankly, Gabriel Iglesias, Jeff Dunham and Dane Cook all get shite on way too much.
Aziz Ansari isn't bad, necessarily, but he sure as shite isn't good.
Also, you're missing Marc Maron, Anthony Jeselnik, Amy Schumer, and John Mulaney, among many, many others.
Also, frick you for saying Bill Burr sucks. frick you right in your stupid arse.

For some of you younger kids, Red Foxx has some quite blue (for the day) stand up routines floating around. Buddy Hackett was great.
If we're bringing it back, Don Rickles and Bob Hope are legends for a reason.

To avoid some of the big names, the most recent specials I've enjoyed are Tig Notaro, Morgan Murphy, Kumail Nanjiani, Hari Kondabolu, and Yannis Pappas.

Love all these. I could never get into Kinnison or Kaufman. Kaufman makes me want to hit children.
