Watching the George C. Scott version right now.

But I think my favorite version is a bit off the beaten path. It was a musical version I saw years ago at Nicholls. I think it was adapted from a 1970s film titled Scrooge. Some great songs in that one. (and I don't usually care much for musicals)

Mickey's Christmas Carol from the 80s.

Even though I really did like the animated one with Jim Carrey.

I saw part of a musical version several weeks ago on TV with Kelsey Grammer as Scrooge. Awful.

I like the George C. Scott and Alistair Sim versions.

The one with Albert Brooks was good if you can handle musicals.

So far it seems like Mickey and the Muppets are the main go to choices.

The 1951 version with Alastair Sim for sure.

When the Ghost of Christmas Present pulls back his robe and reveals the "Ignorance and Want" children, my little kid brain went into terrorized mode.

Scrooged is the best IMO, but Mickey's Christmas Carol will always be up there for me as well since it reminds me of when I was a kid.

Also, I love how similar the responses are every time this thread pops up.

Always seems to be Scrooged, Mickey, and the Muppets as the favorites.
