A graphic designer created a fake poster for those idiots that are trying to crowd fund a remake of The Last Jedi that perfectly mocks the folks crying SJW.

Overall the sjw stuff wasn't the problem. The problem is they made a shitty movie that doesn't fit in context with the other movies. The sjw stuff gets pointed at because it causes people to wonder where the priorities were when making it.
If the movie had been great the sjw talk would have lasted about a week.

Its not good from a Star Wars perspective.
These SJW agendas should be stuck in new movies, but then again that would limit whose eyes and ears they can get. What results is a trash movie.

Are all of the other threads on this same subject anchored? Or did we really need another one to reiterate the same things people have literally argued about hundreds of times for hundreds of thread pages?
This subject isn't just discussed, it has diverted the whole board into warring parties.
I do admit I have very strong feelings on the subject and don't think the people on the other side have a defensible point of view - but I am really ready for the subject to just go away for a while. Maybe then people will be able to go back to talking about interesting old movies or small projects they wanted to share.

TLJ was a terrible movie but you can like whatever you like. You just shouldn't waste your time worrying about other people who don't share your taste.
Hell, I like bad movies too. I own more than one Nicholas Cage movie, I enjoy many of the bad 80s action movies with plots as nonsensical as TLJ. I just don't don't take it personally when other people don't like the same stuff.

What Ruin Johnson did to Luke and his lightsaber was unforgivable.

Perfectly? It's as hokey as the SJW crap that they forced into the movie. I laugh at the people in this thread claiming that they didn't see it. Denial is not just a river in Egypt.
That being said, the hackneyed SJW goals are so stale at this point that they've become a joke and were just entertaining window dressing on what was a poorly written script.

The only parts I thought were SJW-ish was most of the Holdo shite. It was as though she was just there to point out toxic masculinity.

No all of us champ. I rewatched it last weekend. It’s not the best one but far from the worse imo.
I did not like the humor, Finn and Rose were useless and yes the feminist focus was a little annoying but this was not a bad movie.

It was ok if it were some standalone movie. It sucked as a Star Wars movie and it left a dead end as a second film in a trilogy. It also completely ruined some OT characters, mostly Luke.
