What do y'all think about it so far? I watched the premiere, and it didn't really hook me. Considering the people involved, it seemed pretty boring by HBO standards.

I have all of them recorded and plan on watching them Sunday afternoon. Have heard it was decent

I like it. Makes me want to call up an 8 ball everytime I watch though lol

I think I'm still an episode behind, but so far I'm enjoying it. Lots of flashbacks, but they do help the story and help develop the characters.

It's entertaining but nothing great. Olivia Wilde keeps me watching

Between the name and Olivia, you have good taste.

Olivia getting naked Sunday. That's all that matters

Olivia Wilde and slim Charles might be the two most likable things in the world
He sucks as a poster though

Olivia was on Stern this week. She said she's full frontal on Sunday's episode, but had to pick a huge merkin from wardrobe because of 70's era bush.

Pretty much this.
There's a ridiculous factor to it that I just can't get over. The impersonations of famous musicians from the era is usually very poorly done, so much so that it just feels stupid.
That said, I've enjoyed some of the main characters and their performances. Bobby C, Juno temple, ray Romano, Olivia Wilde. It just feels like a show that doesn't know what it wants to be. At this point it's still just style over substance, which can be fun for a while, but after some time they will need something you can invest in.
It's fun looking for and spotting all of the old analog gear though.

Watched the first two episodes and half of the third. Was super mediocre. Nothing wrong with it, but I'd rewatch a great show than watch a mediocre one for the first time. If it has a lot of praise after the season finale, I'll give it another go.

It's suppose to be 1973 and IMO they feature too much pre 70's material as if it's a tribute to the early days of rock n roll.
Bobby Cannavale is an overacting ham but I suppose that adds to the persona of his character.

It's a shallow story but I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far. The high quality HBO production and music sure helps.

I've kept up with it by virtue of HBO plastering the reruns. It's goes from not bad to occasionally really good - for me anyway. There's a lot of scenes that drag on longer than they need. I dig the effort trying to bullseye the trippy viscerals, but the shots get over the top after a time. I do like golfing Alice, though.
Thanks for Sunday's P.S.A. I'm in.

It's another half baked HBO show, which outside GOT is about all they do now. The episode before last was just horrible. I know Olivia Wilde is smoking hot but it's Juno Temple that really rings my bell. Those two chicks are about the only reason I'm still watching.

I remember the days when The Sopranos, The Wire, Six Feet Under and Curb Your Enthusiasm were all airing on HBO throughout the same calendar year.
I'd say the network has become very mediocre since then. There have been good shows here and there but nothing that matches their run from 1999-2007.

It's kinda groovy. Like listening to Pablo Cruise, man. But not like when you first heard Led Zeppelin, Dark Side of The Moon or Jimi, man. And there should be more foxes, man. Like that part is a bummer.
