No love for the Hatfield's and McCoy's in the miniseries category? The Pacific? Smallville?

Office Space and Super Troopers should be added to the comedy section

I haven't followed this thread, but is the OP just adding any movie people mention? Some of the things listed are head-scratch-worthy. Like the above animated films...there are far better "essentials" to add (even if you only include Pixar).

I would say Up and Toy story are two of the best of their genre and a must watch in that genre

How in the frick is Big Bang Theory on there and not Friends...

I was adding everything everyone mentioned for a while to get "content", but I have hit the post limit. I can't really add anything more.

What if you remove the director, or are blank spaces considered characters?
How could you not have included a cultural icon like Star Wars in your original post? Sure the movie can be picked apart, but so could many movies on that list.
Other movies to consider would be Ghostbusters and The Lion King.
I really would like to suggest The Blues Brothers, but I'm not sure what type of traction it would get.

Umm excuse me, where the hell is Surf Ninjas on this list?

I don't consider it "essential" enough. But it had a good run on the list to begin with.

It kinda sucks not seeing the Simpsons and a Family Guy not on the animated list. But the Simpsons has been terrible for a few years, and family Guy since the brought it back. So the list is good.

Definitely should be added.
I'd like to say another great comedy was Big Trouble. Incredible cast, really funny, and some great Florida Gator/sports talk radio jokes. Took bad damn near nobody has seen it.
But this cast was great...
