Dr. K at his wife's grave site got me and my wife tearing up along with Jack telling Rebecca the third baby didn't make it and her reaction which made my wife bawl even though it was played out during the pilot. I hope this show keeps delivering like this.

It was a very moving episode in addition to being full of interesting substance. Excellent.

Fantastic episode. With the advent of DVR, I rarely watch shows as they air anymore - more of catch up on a shite ton of tv over the weekend fellow.

But, I find myself compelled to come home on Tuesday nights and watch this show. It's easily the best show on TV right now.

The show just flows so well. Also, give Gerald McRaney an Emmy today.

On a timing note, the babies had just been born. the fireman had just dropped off randall. The Dr had just signed out.

Then is shows the fireman coming home from the hospital and his wife saying she wanted to start over, then had them at dinner.

The Dr cleans his house when he gets home and eats dinner with ol girl.

Then it shows the kids like 8 years old. Was that all supposed to be around the same time as each other?

No, the kids at 8 was a Father's Day tradition that they had seeing what he recorded on film before her water broke.

Oh man. I couldn't watch it if I had been through that. Sorry, man. Congrats on your second, though. That's awesome.

Thanks wonton and Gris. Lost the first right before Christmas the year before and then was able to see a healthy ultrasound a year to the day a few weeks ago just before Christmas. Crazy how that happens but we are excited and are loving this show so much feeling like we have a lot to relate with (other than the whole triplets thing )

The wife and I can relate to that. Now have 3 year old triplets after having several miscarriages over a few years. There have been more than a few scenes in this show we can already relate to when it comes to the parents of triplets angle. The latest was the guys in the pro shop loudly groaning when Jack was introduced as being the future father of trips. Pretty much the standard response from guys even to this day

I hear ya. We lost one two years ago last week. Have since had another child. It gets better.

Also, my wife's adopted, and just found out that her parents have had non-identifying information about her birth parents her whole life and not shared it with her.

And my dad has stage 4 cancer.

This show regularly kicks our feels in the nuts.

They had bud light in a grocery store in 1980 even though it didn't come out until 1982
