It is sold out in the small city of Innsbruck, Austria today for the grand opening over here.

This movie is gonna keep making money because of word of mouth about how good it is and people who see it multiple times. Spidey-3 disappointed and ticket sales slowed after the first weekend.

I went to see it yesterday again at 3 o'clock and the theater was packed. Not sold out mind you, but I was shocked at how full it was for an afternoon showing during the week.

I'll probably go see it for a second time this week and take the wife.

It sucks that such a shitty movie holds the all-time record. Though knocking off Spiderman 3 for the opening day and weekend was a good start.

Tuesday Total - $20,868,722

Overall Total - $203,773,518

The $203,773,518 is the largest 5 day total of all-time, beating Revenge of the Sith's previous record of $172,802,507 by 17.9%

The Dark Knight took only 5 days to reach $200 million, which beat the previous record of 8 days held by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Spider-Man 2, and Revenge of the Sith.

The $20,868,722 made yesterday is the most all time for a non-opening Tuesday. (Its 2nd to the Transformers $27,8 million, which was its opening day). The next non-opening day Tuesday belong to Dead man's Chest at $15,731,919

It will never beat Aquaman. It's a guy movie and men have better things to do than go see a gratuitously sad movie over and over again.

That is the thing that gets me. 4 days from release, and it already holds the top record up to 7 days.

It is ranked 2nd for 8 days, 5th for 9 days, and 7th for 10 days.

That is insane for it to be ranked so highly against other movies which had 2 weekends to build up.

You can thank all the emotional girls that saw it 6 or more times for that (which is also why I don't think this will pass up titanic, unfortunately)
