The fact that Andrea was murdered so brutally indicates she was known by her killer. It wasn't a random murder.

So the killer is an ex-boyfriend or the step-dad or someone close to Andrea.

Hopefully, we'll get some clues or Nas will remember a few more things as we go forward in Episode 4.

Has it been mentioned that James Gandolfini was listed as a producer of this show?

Was supposed to star in it and he died. Been in the works for a while.

Pretty sure he was supposed to be Stone instead of Turturro.

don't really get the "He should be acting hysterical and crying in the fetal position" angle that some of you are pushing.

No one is saying that. But to act like "oh, my step daughter was violently murdered? Meh, I don't really care" is really odd

Interesting...Turturro seems more suited for the role imo

but why couldn't the motorcyclist be the step-dad? Or anyone else we've seen. Could have even been the girl herself. Laughing at that seems somewhat absurd.

It would make zero sense for the killer/step dad to stick around the scene and then follow nas on the motorcycle.

That scene was just a red herring, same as the dirty look that bodie's friend gave, and the ominous warning of the hearse driver.

we shall see I suppose. the detective, the criminal justice system, his life, naz, his typical clients? Do you think it clears up or just is going to be there the entire series?

Stealing this from Adnan Virk, the ESPN guy who's pretty much a part time critic, but he claims it's a metaphor for his "itchy conscious" which would make sense

What? Who said they stuck around? They may have left shortly before Nas did. And pulling up to someone at a light does not equate to following them. He/she may have seen the knife on the dash and been confused by the coincidence.

Maybe. Or even probably. By the fact that you laugh at people who discuss it as a possibility--when none of us know shite at this point--is ridiculous and ironicallnmakes you look like an idiot.

Maybe his career? When he gets cured, and slips on them new shoes and suit, he'll be a new man, ready to conquer the world.

Hell idk.

The stepdad and the motorcycle jackets are completely different. The person on the motorcycle has white lettering down the arms. The stepdad has a plain black jacket

It's been mentioned already...but for me, right now this just looks like a characterization of the criminal justice system. I was hoping for much more mystery into the murder.
