I just started the book yesterday actually. I usually don't like reading at all, but am looking forward to the book and the movie a lot for some reason.

Mark Watney is a smartass badass. I can see how that one line might come across as stupid without any other knowledge about the book, but it fits right in with everything.

Personally I was hoping for Fassbendor for the lead, but I think Damon will do a good job.
