I just saw it... I loved it. It's fricking TMNT. Go in expecting a fun action movie and you get that. All the characters are done well. Mikey is typical and hilarious at spots.

It was well worth the $8 and I'm gonna see it again.

Can't stand assholes looking for plot and character development in a story about Mutant. Ninja. TURTLES.

Been a huge fan of the franchise since I could walk and I loved every minute.

It's at 19% now.

The summation:

quote:

Neither entertaining enough to recommend nor remarkably awful, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may bear the distinction of being the dullest movie ever made about talking bipedal reptiles.

Listen to this d-bag, from salon.com (shocker):

I had to draw on my own ninja training and reflect intensively on the transitory nature of all phenomena, just to fend off the profound yearning for death.

It wasn't going to be liked by critics no matter what but now it's just people trying to top other reviewers with their criticism so they can go viral.

Yeah, you're probably right.

I have no desire to see the movie. I'll probably wind up watching it with my sons eventually on redbox. I never had high hopes for it. Don't feel the need to rip it either. I'm past the point where I believe everything from my childhood is great, and everyone is just out to destroy it.

I haven't read a negative review, so they don't exist.

It was not a fun action movie. It was boring.
I disagree that they were done well and that Mikey was hilarious. It was a shame. I love TMNT and I hoped the best.

This. I don't know why it became fashionable to shite on a movie before it even comes out, but this movie was way more entertaining than people will give it credit for. The noses don't bother me and aren't even noticeable. Plenty of action, and isn't even that cheesy. I saw the 1989 movie in the theater and this one is much more fun.

this one just looks bad all the way around

I saw all the TMNT movies in the theater. This one is the best. Its the best combination of action and humor and top notch special effects. Splinter was cool to see.

And to the person who asked if Shredder is a robot, no he's just encased in too much metal. But his fighting was impressive despite looking like the adamantium robot from Wolverine.

Thank you! Now I'm excited!

I have no criticism. It just doesn't look like a TMNT movie I'll enjoy

Just saw it. It was a great nostalgia ride. Funny dialogue between the turtles, solid popcorn action scenes, decent enough origin story. It's not going to win any awards, but I don't regret spending my money to go see it

Out of curiosity, for those of y'all saying "I loved it", what does that mean?

When I say I "loved" something, it means it is pretty far up my list of badass things that exist. There isn't anything beyond "loved it".

Saw it today. It was worth the wait and price of admission.

It was exactly what I thought ... Entertaining and engaging.

It's funny that most of the people hating on this movie haven't even seen it.

I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's arse, but I'd rather take a butcher's word for it.
