Most of the butchers are saying it's good.

I'm just messing around. I'm still going to see it. I'm going in expecting a steaming pile of dog shite so I'll probably enjoy it.

ETA: I'm seeing 64% on RT audience, which isn't that bad. I trust the audience more than the mustache-wearing film critics.

I'm expecting garbage, too. I've seen a couple of clips and thought they were really good, but I thought the same thing about Robocop. Then I saw it. I guess we'll see tomorrow. My kids are stoked about it, though.

I think they got the look and feel right, which was a big concern for most. It just probably isn't a very good movie.

Just saw it. It's not a bad movie... actually not all that much action in it. Too many corny jokes. But it's not horrible. My goodness Megan Fox is hot as balls tho

it was worth it tho just to see the dude behind me, the 40 year old man with a f'n orange Michelangelo headband on with his teenage mutant ninja turtles shirt on.

Saw it, and I'm not mad that I did....They obviously left it open for more movies if this one does well enough. I just have a real soft spot for the animatronic quality in the original movie combined with real martial arts fighters in the turtle costumes.

Hell, Superman Returns is at 80%+

all the more reason that you can't read anything into RD ratings. Superman Returns was like watching a puerto rican abortion marathon.

The Ooze is about to come on ABC Family, in case anyone wants to see it.

I have no criticism. It just doesn't look like a TMNT movie I'll enjoy

This. I was going to give it some sort of chance, but the consensus shows nothing redeeming.

I might watch it for free at some point, at home, but it seems to be something just not worth.

(Some would say this happened when Michael Bay was involved, and I'd disagree, it still had a chance.)

Well. if he keeps casting people based on who's sucked his dick at coke parties, the movies will always be bad. Megan Fox is bad enough to ruin a movie all by herself. She's a modern day Pia Zadora.

Sigh... but if you must... watch turtles first so Guardians will wash the stink off of you.

Saw both movies yesterday and did just that...definitely eased the blow haha. Turtles was...okay for me. It wasn't absolutely god awful, but it wasn't great either. It was very meh. Going in with tempered expectations is the best way to not be disappointed.

Think about how hard it would be for a film critic to say he/she liked this, even if they did.
