I actually thought it wasn't all that bad for what it is, and for that time slot. Kinda charming, actually. Enough so I'll sit through at least another episode. 
Here's hoping they keep the camp to a bare minimum and that it'll have more depth than most Superman stuff does. I hated Superman even as a kid in the 70s/80s because he was so one dimensional. The Dark Knight and many Marvel heroes were so much more interesting on many more levels.
I guess my main fear is it'll just be too predictable. Hope they throw some curve balls in the mix.

I liked Superman well enough until I found Spiderman and the X-Men. It was the Spectacular Spiderman books from around 1976 or so that really hooked me. He was down in the grit and grime of New York at that time. And Marvel seemed so much less in love with itself and irreverent than DC did. I know I tried my arse off to win a 'No Prize', but that goal always escaped me.
I did really like the first two Superman movies with Christopher Reeves. I must've seen 'em both a zillion times back then.
But yeah, the Superman books bored the ever loving dog shite out of me. He was too perfect, and impossible to relate too. He wasn't conflicted like Peter Parker or Logan/Wolverine.
All a Superman book was good to me for was just trade bait for a Sgt. Rock or an Unknown Soldier.
