According to The Wrap, Logan will feature a much older and significantly crippled Wolverine living out his last days in 2024, and forced to get by in spite of his failing health and diminishing regenerative abilities. Logan is in charge of mentoring a small girl possessed of her own pair of claws – only she possesses two blades on each hand instead of three – and a comparably aged Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) whose mind has begun to deteriorate, aided by the albino mutant Caliban (Stephen Merchant). I
more timeline issues ahead....

Would it be too much to ask for just a solid Wolverine movie, gritty and bloody and true to the character where he is his normal self? Kinda like the Deadpool movie?

Director just tweeted this.

This timeline is all messed up.
I guess we're supposed to be looking at these Wolverine movies like the First Class timeline never happened.

Original Timeline can't have happened either because the Sentinels fricked up the world and killed off the X-Men.

Why would you say that?

Logan is probably the best, deepest, and most complex character in comic book history, especially from a story telling aspect.
Pretty awesome that Bryan Singer posts on TD

Days of Future Past actually takes place in 2021.
It's not inconceivable that the residual stress of two timelines' worth of Xaviers have taken their toll on the Professor.
It's also not conceivable that that same mental and physical stress from Logan's travel into the past has fractured his healing factor.

I would just say the stress from time traveling weakened him

I read on another forum that an actor has been cast to play x-23 and that the Sinister rumors are untrue. If so, my interest in this movie will return.

Seems like the little girl might be x-23
Posted on 10/18/16 at 1:30 pm to bigpetedatiga
Yea but then x-23 can't be added to the new xmen movies....... :(

The site Trailer Track made the announcement that the Logan trailer has official been classified, which (if you don't know industry lingo) is the final process for getting a trailer slated for release to the public. Here are the details reported by Trailer Track: "The trailer running 1:46 has been classified today by the BBFC (alongside a version presumably slightly re-edited for a 12A rating)."

I don't know if these statements are true. Magnetos powers haven't faded. He's old as dirt.
Not really. Maybe in his 50's. As you probably know, if characters were aged accurately, most characters would be very old. Even in the movies, while Mcklellan is old, he's pretty much somewhere in the 50-60 range as a character.
If he is a holocaust survivor, then he was old as dirt in the first three movies

First trailer coming tomorrow.
