I think she's trying to stay neutral about the Jay lying deal. SK has to wear many hats while explaining this entire story.
Also, I'm pissed that we don'tget an episode next week.

yeah that article would be fine after the podcast is over. that writer is jumping to several conclusions about where the podcast will or will not go in the future.
in fact, the end of this episode seemed to hint at getting into the shite talked about in that article. whether it will or not, i dont know.

Well she had all their shite reviewed by another detective, so on some level she was questioning their methods

Well I got mad at the writer several times, but his main point remains- all the fricking corruption in the Baltimore legal system

Same. I'm not going to nitpick her thought process like the article does because I think she is going about it in the way she does both to kind of put herself in an outside observer's shoes (like us; sort of like she is modeling for us how we might question the million tiny pieces of this case) and to systematically pull little threads at certain times so as to keep us interested and feed us different pieces of the puzzle in moderation.
What I enjoyed about the article, though, was its larger view. I think SK has been looking at this on a more micro level in terms of motivations, which is fine, and to her credit she has stepped back to the macro level on a few occasions. But I think the macro view of the Baltimore justice system is starting to nudge its way into the frame as an emerging antagonist that is becoming increasingly hard to ignore. I'm starting to think that this is going to end less and less with the case being solved in terms of "Jay did it" or "Adnan has been taking us for a ride" and more in the vein of "sloth and incompetence on the part of government officials sent a meteor hurtling right down on top of this kid's head and look at all of the other people it has effected in the process."

It's privileged information imo. I don't think Adnan's lawyer knew all the details about Jay/Two detectives.

That makes a lot of sense
I mean, she's uncovering minor non truths, but ultimately it would take Jay or adnan coming clean for us to no beyond a shadow of a doubt. And that's not happening

We definitely need a criminal attorney 
I don't think Adnan or his attorney knew that Jay was coached into what information to release or not to release while giving his recorded testimony.
I mean we know his attorney wasn't all there and possibly was trying to throw the case. But nobody can ignore how many times Jay changed his story. I'm curious if SK told the jurors some of the information she has on Jay.

Adnan's attorney would have had access to the taped interviews of Jay. It was discussed in an earlier episode. The detective SK had on even said the key to the case is probably in the 3 hours they interviewed Jay that they didn't record.
After today's episode I'm even more convinced Adnan didn't do it.
