And what's all the crap written on the back of the note? After "i'm going to kill"
It looks like a note-conversation back and forth between people. The parts I made out were something about someone being pregnant, a joke about someone probably thinking they are pregnant after a guy kisses them, and clinic/abortion talk.

I just Google Image searched SK.
I has a disappoint.
ETA: I've listened to all 8 episodes in the last 24 hours. I have no idea if Adnan is guilty or not, but I know two things. Jay is a lying frick and there's no way Adnan should have been convicted with the evidence the prosecution had.

Finally had a chance to listen to this and I think Adnan killed Hae. I hate to believe Jay because he is so sketchy but Adnan's inability to remember anything on that day doesn't sit right with me.

Adnan killed her.
Jay knew where the car was located. This demonstrates that Jay had direct knowledge of what went down. This takes a serial killer or someone else off of the table. I don't believe in a million years that Jay killed Hae and was able to pin it on a completely innocent Adnan. That's ludicrous.
Also, there is no explaining how Adnan never called or paged Hae during the time that Hae was "missing." His explanation for why he didn't was a stuttering, stammering mess.
Is there some shady stuff we don't know about Jay's story? Yes.
Did Adnan kill Hae? Yes.

Was convinced Adnan did it last week. Now I don't know.

I've never been convinced he did it. Last week made it seem a little more plausible that he did
But this week blows everything Jay said apart
Why in the frick didn't they ask everyone to come forward if they'd seen hae? Why the hell didn't they talk to the wrestling girl?
This shite just pisses me off
Oh and not looking forward to hearing the attorney's voice next week :shudder:

Today's episode has made me reconsider Adnon's guilt. Maybe Jay did it himself.
Good episode today.
Good episode today.

Listening to today's episode a second time around. This is incredible.

I have to read the transcript after I listen. Apparently I learn and retain better through reading than listening
Les BFF, I hate to make a decision either way at this point, but it just seems like adnan had no involvement. Or at least there is zero proof of him being involved
Jay lies so fricking much. Why do we believe him and his inconsistencies over adnan and all of the people who have shown jay to be lying?
So there's no phone at best buy. Where is there a phone? Is there a phone at the library?
Could adnan really get away with murdering hae without leaving one shred of evidence anywhere?
And it's not like Jay had to be some criminal mastermind to pull this off. He lies a hundred times and the cops tell him what to say. And none of it even fits the timeline
I like the gawker article that was linked on reddit. I'll find it and post it if I can. But it says what SK should really be focusing on is the corruption in the Baltimore legal system at that time instead of the minutiae of the day. It's all already been proven to be a bunch of bullshite

With this evidence I wouldn't have been able to convict Adnan. It's bullshite that Jay & the two detectives cut certain corners to fit the case they needed. (It's no surprise that they don't want to be interviewed)

LINK
^^This is required reading for everyone in this thread^^^
While I don't necessarily agree with all of the criticisms directed toward Koenig, I do think that the observation presented in that link is incredibly important. I think the answer to this whole thing has a lot less to do with who is lying and more to do with the social issue of why the frick anyone could have been convicted on such flimsy evidence and questionable management of the case. I hate to use this line (because like most nowadays, it is horribly overused) but Adnan was a victim of a fricked up justice system whether you believe him or not.

I get the author's point, and if SK never addresses that it would be a huge mistake, but I think it's premature to call her out for not investigating the investigators. It seems to me that she's already hinted at it in previous episodes. Todays episode kind of felt like the end to Act 2. Act 3 could raise some legitimate questions regarding Baltimore officials.

Can't wait to see what she says about adnan's lawyer's inability to introduce reasonable doubt next week. No, the next week
Is she not allowed to bring up what a fricking liar Jay was? Like how many times he changed his story to the cops?
And please don't let her say stepping out again
Tyler, thanks for linking that. It's the article I said I was going to find and forgot about. It's a really great read
