Ep. 1 - Qui Gon and Darth Maul were badasses and the duel of the fates was epic

Ep. 2 - Mace Windu made Jango Fett his bitch

Ep. 3 - Obi Wan going stone cold killer on Anakin

1. Coruscant is awesome

2. The arena battle (before the Jedi and Clones show up)

3. The whole last 2/3 of the movie.

i liked prrequels better then sequels.
the politics, drama, space battles ( orginal never showed how big galaxy was), more aliens, more force, more mythology

Not many positives so my list sounds similar to others.

EpI- John Williams score, Maul, Obiwan.

EpII- John Williams score,
dis:

dat (arse):

EpIII-I really liked this one. John Williams score. Best opening after the crawl of all 7. Obiwan vs Anikin/Vader. Dooku's death was kick arse too.

Episode 1 - Obi
Episode 2 - Wan
Episode 3 - Kenobi (and I enjoyed Palpatine as well).

But seriously, I thought Obi Wan was the best and most consistent part of the prequels. And if you watch them with him in mind as the main protagonist they are much more palatable.

Maul should've been in all 3. Then have Vader kill him and take his place as the apprentice.

for the 1st one, the moment the door opens to see Maul looking down, and Duel of Fates music hits. gives me chills everytime i see it.

And then those chills almost immediately turn to nausea as the one good scene gets cut in by three other unnecessary plots. One of which is a goddamn annoying kid in a slapstick space war. frick that movie.

Prequels Darth Maul is the most overrated character in SW. Other than looking like a badass, there is nothing to his character. You don't know a single thing about him after watching Episide I.

1 - Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon/Maul lightsaber fight

2 - Natalie Portman, Christopher Lee, seeing Yoda fight for the first time

3 - Anakin v Obi-Wan is the best fight in the entire saga, Vader breathing for the first time, MacGregor and McDiarmid's performances, that ending shot.

I - Darth Maul, Duel of the Fates (music)

II - Jango, Padme's jumpsuit, Artoo's jets

III - Opening space battle, Battle of the Heroes (music), Order 66 (Scene still chokes me up)

I - Darth maul, obviously. The DM/QJ duel. I really liked the "always a bigger fish" part near the beginning when they are travelling through the planet or whatever.

II - Um...I'll say the Dooku/Yoda lightsaber fight. Also I kinda dug the ocean planet. And good call on Padme's clothing...she was looking pretty fiya.

III - I thought Anakin's turn to the dark side was decently done. Also liked the volcano planet.

The only good thing about any of them is that Natalie Portman is attractive and her body-doubles/backup queens were Rose Byrne and Keira Knightley, which in retrospect is a lot of current attractive star power for one role.

Was she a backup queen? I always just took her for a senate aide or handmaiden. Her "double" got blown up early on, and I don't think they used that trick afterwards in that movie or the third one.

Yeah, I think you are right. Still, she had basically a "nobody" role in the movie and she's reasonably big now, which is what I was going for.

I saw them all in the theater with my dad. I think my mom and sister saw different movies. I always liked that. Felt like a boys club.

The Opening scene in episode 3 with the battle over coruscant and Anakin and Obi Wan racing to save the chancellor on General Greivous's ship was one of the coolest moments of the prequels.

It really showcased just how huge and expansive the galaxy is.
