Finished season 3 over the weekend and I guess I am way in the minority here, but I really enjoyed season 3. Had several moments where I literally laughed out loud. Season 2 almost drove me away cause I got tired of V.

Crazy Eyes is by far my favorite character! Any time she is on the screen I start laughing. Really hated how V made her "evil". Season 3 brought back the fun loving Suzanne.

I liked season 3, too. Felt like Piper became more of a supporting character which is good.

I agree. I guess too I don't have any large expectations for the show. I watch cause my wife watches, but unlike some of the stuff she watches, I actually watch this. And enjoy it. After season 2 I was meh, but I am back in after 3.

I ended up liking season 3 more as it went along, although the pond scene was totally ridiculous.

I only ended up having a couple true problems with the season.
I don't buy Piper as a badass, at all. Even in a minimum security prison, there's no way she's Avon Barksdale.

How Bennett was written out of the season was just weird, lazy, amateur, something...but it wasn't good. It hope it was because he had other work commitments, otherwise that was just terrible. Totally inconsistent with everything we knew about the character, and just amateur how they handled it.

Taryn Manning should at the very least get an Emmy nomination for this season. She was amazing. I think this show has gotten awards recognition the past few years largely because its a novelty. She was phenomenal this season though.

Yeah, I agree with this. I actually thought he was going to walk through the door as a DEA agent at the end, but no luck.

Next season should be interesting with a new prison moving in. And the celebrity. My wife said that is Martha Stewart in the book, but she never came to Piper's prison.

At first I assumed he was the one who tipped the DEA off about them, maybe thinking it would lead to him being able to adopt the kid somehow. IDK. I hated that storyline and I'm glad they wrote him out of the season.

I finished it yesterday and agree with everything you posted especially piper not being a badass. They could have written her and Alex out completely and it would have improved the show.

My wife has been binge watching this show and Im not impressed. Just about everything that happens is easily predictable. I dont find it humorous. Every once in a while I will laugh but most of it is lesbian/feminine hygiene jokes.
