For anyone who hasn't seen this awesome Netflix original series, you have to check it out! At first glance, a lot of guys may not be too interested because it's a show set in a women's prison, but if you give it a chance, like I did, you will definitely enjoy it. The actors and actresses are top notch, the story-lines stay interesting and the character development isn't lacking at all, they do a great job with it. It's not like Oz, which is another series I liked, it's much more tame, but women's prisons in general, especially a medium security prison like the one portrayed in the show, are probably much more tame than men's prisons.
So, for those who have seen the show, what are your thoughts on it?

If I see one more damn post about that one chick being "so hot" when she clearly just looks like a dude in makeup...

I've only seen a season and a half, but it's the most well written show I've seen that most relies on the stupidity of it's own characters. Really nothing but bad decisions on everyone's part. Guess that's why they're in prison though.
I will say one thing though: no fricking way would the plot line with the prison guard having sex with the fat hispanic chick ever go down; they then make it even more ridiculous when Pornstache falls in love with her. If she had a great personality, that would be one thing, but she's as interesting as sand paper. The only thing I can say about her is she likes to draw (which isn't even a personality trait). It's very clear to me that there was not a male on the creative staff in the first season due to this plot line, since he would have most certainly vetoed it.

How long does it take to get good? I watched the first episode and didn't like it. There were some nice boobs, but it was kind of awkward how the whole series just started on sex scenes

She looks decent in photo ops that focus on her face (which is decent but with an insane amount of makeup all the time), but has the body of a dude

The first season was pretty good. The second season wasn't as good and the third season looks like it's going to suck.

It gets a lot better, trust me. The comedy alone in this show makes it gold, the performances in the show are awesome. It's one of those shows where it keeps you wanting more, it's not boring whatsoever. Give it until Episode 5, if you aren't hooked by then, then you'll know it's not the show for you, although I'm pretty sure you'll like it!

Just finished the third season, it was actually really good. One thing that stands out is Piper's transformation, let's just say she is starting to fit in more with the fellow prisoners. There are some cliff-hangers at the end, so be ready for that!!
