You have to love make up. The age differnences are believable. I thought it was a really good premiere.

The Preacher was also an officer on The Wire

And he's been one of the main characters on Treme since it debuted.

Marty is so frickin' the chick that came in with the papers.

All in all it seem to have the potential to be one awesome show.

Gotta believe the preacher/minister guy with the glasses that showed up at the office near the end is the killer.

He's connected (brother of the Governor?), and he said "a war is coming". He also had a sleazy look about him and McConaghey was skeptical of him.

Sounds like a Christian zealot/fanatic who likes to kill hookers.

Yeah the preacher either knows the killer or is the killer himself, IMO.

Writers seem to have done their homework.

There is only one writer, Nic Pizzolatto. He is the creator of the show. He was born in NOLA, but grew up in Lake Charles (went to St. Louis). He has written a novel, Galveston, that is definitely worth checking out. He has also recently written a remake of The Magnificent Seven.

I think they worked with some guy from Lafayette or the surrounding area to help with the Acadiana shite.

Well written, well acted. No reason to nitpick. This is going to be a very good show.
