Perusing the article, the Suicide Squad has a huge connection with Batman as all of them were put away by the Caped Crusader. He might have a significant presence in this movie. I like the theory many are proposing concerning Batman. He had quit the crime fighting business some years before the events of Man of Steel after the death of Jason Todd/Robin.

still not sure how I feel about this move though. I mean you've basically set yourself up to have to reboot him once again in a few years despite the fact that you're just now launching a new universe

I like it. It allows the older Batman to be the seasoned leader of the Justice League while giving the standalone Batman movies the freedom to do whatever they want without worrying about continuity issues. All of the standalone movies can be prequels since they have 2 decades to work with before the events of BvS.

A live action Batman should never have yellow or bright blue in their suit. It's already hard enough to take a guy with bat ears seriously.

Nah, you can get the same Juice that marvel got out of RDJ and instead of rebooting you start a Nightwing franchise and double dip into the Batman well.
