I kept having the same "how could they leave the makeup chair and do scenes with a straight face?" thought watching Jupiter Ascending that I had watching Battlefield Earth.

At least Atlas looked decent. The Wachowski brother-sister/brothers' standards have fallen off the cliff.

When I saw the first trailer for that movie I thought it looked like the dumbest fricking movie ever and I've never been so happy a movie bombed.

the problem is that jupiter ascending is going to be hollywood bulletin board material to prevent expensive, original concepts from being made. more sequels, remakes, sandler movies, etc will follow.

CatWoman is the worst movie I have ever seen. And to think this was the first film Halle Berry took on after winning the Oscar. Way to go from the top to the bottom in 1 movie.

I really wish they would do Exit to Eden.

Essentially ruined Dana Delany's film career, Rosie O'Donnell and Dan Akroyd cite it as a movie they regret doing, and it's a cross between a BDSM love story and a screwball jewelry caper.

Does this topic pertain to only bad movies? Because I immediately thought of Locke with Tom Hardy. Great movie but it had to take some balls to make it.

I'll get flamed for this, but I really enjoyed The Musketeer, with Justin Chambers, which was basically D'Artanian the Ninja. I really don't know why I liked it, but I do.

i saw the movie on in the OP as well and got all excited because i couldn't remember which one was the crap 3 musketeers remake and which one was the awesome one with Tim Roth.

was disappointed

I saw Bruce Campbell on a speaking tour once, and he started going through the casts and creators of some of his bigger bombs and then tagging it with a line like "Congrats! You just made Congo!"

The point is, a lot of bad movies look good on paper. I mean, take the OP. I don't disagree the end result was awful, but Three Musketeers is about as safe of a property as you can imagine. It just died in execution.

And some horrible movies get made because they are cheap or service a specific fanbase. But I think the best answer was the $200 million 47 Ronin movie. Who thought that was a good idea?

I don't know what type movie they are going for in that preview, a dramedy or what, but goddamn, it looks awful.

And young professor X should win a Razzie based on that preview alone.

The Walk. Not saying it's bad-I haven't seen it. It's just that the trailer makes me think,

"Black Hat"

Bought it because it was on sale on blu-ray and I like Chris Hemsworth, but it was one of the biggest pieces of shite I've watched in awhile.

"I, Frankenstein"

I feel like Aaron Eckhart just decided he wanted to stop acting so he put himself in the worst movie possible.
