"I'd like to say a few words about a guy I know, a friend of mine. His name is Brian Piccolo, and he has the heart of a giant and that rare form of courage which allows him to kid himself and his opponent -- cancer.

He has a mental attitude which makes me proud to have a friend who spells out "courage," 24 hours a day, every day of his life.

Now you flatter me by giving me this award. But I say to you here and now, Brian Piccolo is the man of courage who should receive the George S. Halas award.

It's mine tonight and Brian Piccolo's tomorrow.

I love Brian Piccolo.

And I'd like all of you to love him too.

And tonight, when you hit your knees:

Please ask God to love him too."

My god, just the song makes me tear up.

Pops Midnight - one of the manliest men who ever lived - bawled his eyes out at this scene. I was a little embarrassed for him.

End of My Dog Skip

I was thinking of the two movies that made me cry. Radio was one, and I couldn't think of the other one until you brought this up. This was it. Such a sad movie, especially at the end.

About time scene where there running on the beach and Lone Survivor montage at the end, especially when it showed Dietz with his dog and Axe at his wedding.

Suicide scene in Last of the Mohicans. The music and the girl's expression are so moving. You can just feel her emotion.

The ending of the original Brian's Song when they say Brian Piccalo died at the age of 26...still gets me every time. The hospital bed scene and when Sayers announces to the team that he is very very sick.

SPeech to the team

ANd as someone said earlier, the song gets me every time too

For years I was a mess watching Lovell's mom in the "if he can fly a washing machine" scene. Looked & talked exactly like my Grandma.

In About Time when the Dad and the Son run down the beach together one last time. My dad has had a lot of health problems, and we are very close. I wish every child had the chance to have a relationship with their dad like I do. So, that scene in About Time hit me like a Mack truck.

Didn't cry, but got emotional at the end of F7, the part dedicated to Paul.

The beginning scene of The Notebook. I was sitting next my then girlfriend, desperately missing South Carolina, and thinking about my ex as that scene started. Just hit me hard. For the record, the ex ended up as my wife.

The Passion of the Christ, various points hit me pretty hard.

Several other movies have done the trick through the years, I just cant remember all of them. I'm sure reading this thread will bring up a few.

I am not a huge cryer, just have a huge imagination. I really invest in movies and characters. Books are worse for me actually.

In the FNL movie, when Billingsley's dad takes off his championship ring and puts it on his son's hand after the loss. Waited up for my dad to get home that night just so I could hug him.
