In the last few years... Boyhood. Just a dull, boring movie, and not much redeeming quality other than the gimmick of it.

Of all time, without a doubt Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I was still young enough when the Star Wars prequels came out to not truly understand how much they sucked.

As a kid, I found a paperback copy of Battlefield Earth that my parents (for some reason) had tucked away in a closet. Now, as I say, I was a kid, so I had no idea what Scientology was or who L. Ron Hubbard was, and so I read it completely free of any preconceptions - and I freaking loved it, and love it still. Charlatan though the man may have been, there is a reason he first made a name for himself as a sci-fi writer. So when I heard they were making a movie version, I was beside myself with excitement. I went to see it on opening night. And... well, yeah. You can pretty much guess the rest.

Battleship. Thought it'd be cool but the cheesiness was just too much.

Transformers. It wasn't terrible, but as usual Michael Bay just can't help himself and let the lame human storylines get in the way.

Still hurts. This was before you could really access movie reviews as easily as you can now (or maybe before I knew how to), so I sat down in the theater on opening night thinking it was going to be amazing. No warning

It's easily Attack of the Clones. At that time, I didn't think Ep 1 was that bad, plus the trailers for EP II were outstanding. I had no doubts that it would be a very good star wars film. Lucas will only get better and better with each film, I thought

It's almost cliche at this point but yeah, I don't think any other movie will ever be able to disappointment as strongly and with such long lasting effects.

Alexander by Oliver Stone. I'm a history lover and never thought an epic about Alexander the Great could be boring.

I know this won't be a popular opinion on this board but for me the answer is Tropic Thunder.

I was so excited for months leading up to it. The cast and the premise had me so excited. I was pumped sitting in the theater on opening night and then it started and it was just terrible. I didn't laugh once the whole movie and found myself wising it would end already.
