If Buzz kissed some other female character you wouldn't bat an eye. But two people showing love to one another of the same sex is some vast conspiracy to you. Gay people exist. It's not a choice. It's who they are and it's how God made them.

This implies a purpose to our evolution, a direction. Sorry, but that's not what evolution is. There is no "grand design" behind it. You weren't "created" to do anything specific. Our ancestors got a lucky batch of random mutations that were beneficial, while a frick ton of other mutations died off. Our main advantage is that our distant ancestors were small enough to survive Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event. That's why mammals were so prevalent now, and it had not a damned thing to do with a goal to "exist as the highest form of creation."

What does that even MEAN? Have you evolved beyond the need to sleep, drink or eat? Can you exist entirely on solar energy, or wind power? Are you now immune to disease, and are immortal?

There is literally nothing more special about you than the deer that gets run over in the street except that your ancestors fricked enough times to get the right random combo for basic intelligence. Not to mention, as an individual, human beings are WAY less capable of surviving than most animals.

I agree. When my kids watch “Lady and the Tramp” we shut the movie off when the two dogs share spaghetti and each member of the family sits down with their typewriters and we each write a letter to Disney condemning any themes of love in a movie targeted to children.
