It is an amazing-great show debut! I can't wait for week 2.

Well that was bizarre, but it works. For now I like the confusion. Even if you establish that certain characters exist, they could be fake in any given scene, or it could be a falsely remembered scene, or he could be reading their minds and interpreting that as their actions.
How did he get his own body back?
My favorite scene was the choreographed dance number.

Outside of Legion being an incredibly powerful mutant with a mental disorder, I don't think the show is going to draw too much on the comics.

Fascinating. I need to rewatch and pay more attention for a lot of reasons, but one of the rooms in the facility they were escaping did look somewhat like a TV sound stage.

"Breathe" was part of the soundtrack for the episode too. Recognized it as I was pondering if they actually were referring to Floyd and looked down to the captioning just barely in time to catch it before the lyrics started captioning on past the song ID.
Production is really well done. This has potential to be really really good. Also has potential to jump the shark at any time. Kinda fits with a psycho main character though. Never know when he is gonna go insane so the production riding the edge fits.

Is this show linked someway to Stranger Things (writer, directors, etc)? I thought a lot of the background music seemed very similar Stranger Things and then they had the reference to waffles at his sister's house.
