Larry Wilmore is tremendously bad and needs to go.

Anyone else think this gets shut down after one season, or that he's replaced after just one? I can't imagine that ratings are good. I don't really know where to find those numbers, but it's rough. Hell, throughout the episodes they advertise free tickets to the show. No good show has to do that.

Larry is actually a funny guy in other stuff, but the issues he chooses to talk about and the way he addresses them is really pitiful. Needlessly antagonistic, awful skits, bad correspondents and lame dialogue. And that's not even due to his stances. I like Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and John Oliver. Just saying that to be clear that I'm not just some guy that disagrees with him.

I don't like him much in this either. They picked the wrong corespondent to move up. I would of given Aasif Mandvi a show.

He's just awful, and ripped off Maher's format without bringing in actual debate. He just brings on social justice warriors who all agree with him.

Klepper would have been better. I know he was brand new then, but he's the best the Daily Show has right now.

Keeping it 100 means being completely honest. He'd have to give me one of those dumb arse stickers if I said this on his show.

They should have named it the minority and SJW Half Hour

Its really aweful how they bring it bad comedians and act like they are intellectuals. The "latino" kid who cant sit straight is one of the worst.

It's so, so pitiful when he does his panel and he can't even get enough guests so his correspondents and writers fill in.

The ratings for this show cannot be any good. There's no way. Its just an awful show.

I seriously doubt it lasts another year.

Admittedly, I've never watched the show, but the commercials alone make me groan. And the little clips I see before my recorded shows are even worse (like the "keep it 100" bullshite).

The show is unredeemable. Which is pathetic. There's not a single thing about it that makes it watchable

I can't even remember Wilmore being funny on TDS. He was just always the token black dude then they tried to make a show out of the token black dude. Keep it 100 is an awful segment of an awful show that needs to be put out of its misery.

Comedy Central seemed to put all of their eggs in one basket with John Oliver. He goes to HBO and gets a sweet gig, then they lose Stewart and Colbert in the same year. That was probably the worst case scenario for them.

Do they have anyone in line to replace Stewart?

Trevor Noah. AKA Wilmore part duh.

Who knows; he might be awesome. I wouldn't put any money on it though. Seems like if he was anybody worth knowing about, there would be more buzz. It's a bad sign that he has been doing comedy for a while and nobody knows who he is.

Kinda like a restaurant with a parking lot that's always empty at dinner time. Chances are, that restaurant might not be too good.

Fight me IRL.

Trevor is going to slay. And yes, I'll eat crow if he doesn't. But Trevor is funny as hell.

Let's go bitch!

Just kidding. I actually haven't heard much of his material but like I say, he's been around enough to get this gig and nobody knows who he is. I knew who Stewart was before the Daily Show. We all knew who Oliver and Colbert were before their shows.

I'd love to be wrong about it. The absence of the Report and Stewart is leaving a sizeable hole in my comedy viewing.

I only watched the first couple. Some of the jokes seemed like they weren't too bad, but the delivery was awful. Then again, it was the same on the Daily Show but Stewart always laughed.

I guess it's because he has his other show but I think Jason Jones would have been a good pick. Aasif would have been good as has been mentioned. Hell, I think Jessica Williams would have been a solid Colbert replacement and she was only on the Daily Show for a few years.
