Trevor Noah. AKA Wilmore part duh

negative. this dude is awesome. I think he's gonna surprise people. He's south african so that may be why many havent heard of him as his career is newer to the states. He has stand up on netflix that is hilarious.

Me too. Wilmore lost me early on when everything was about race.

Noah may be good. I'll give it a shot. But I wish Oliver had just taken over the Daily Show.

From its wiki page, didn't follow the citations.

quote:

The show has averaged 417,000 viewers a night, within its first three months in the key demographic of viewers ages 18 to 49. In March, the show's total viewings were down 38% from the average total of 1.24 million viewers received by The Colbert Report.[2][3]

In June 2015, the show's total 676,000 viewers average is down 45% from the average total of 1.24 million viewers received by The Colbert Report.[31] The show's average 230,000 viewers in the key demographic of ages 18 to 49 a night is down 45% from the 417,000 viewers its first 3 months averaged

Seems like a lot of people don't want to hear about race every night

To be fair, I do like MY penis.

Sorry your "Watch how hilarious this is" video wasn't actually funny. :(

Wilmore isn't anything really -- not interesting, not incendiary, brings absolutely nothing new to the table for the dead horse he beats every night. His writers are awful as well, and his panel is just painful to listen to. You would think it some show on cable access if you just scrolled through the channels and never heard of it before.

Yeah I just looked at the ratings. They are bad.

A .33 this past week. Adult Swim had signficantly more viewers, for instance.

Jason Jones with Sam B as dual anchors would kill it, and the follow up show should of been with Aasif

Hell, throughout the episodes they advertise free tickets to the show. No good show has to do that.

So does Jerry Springer, Maury, Steve Wilkos etc...

It's not a funny show. I'll agree with things he says, but I don't enjoying watching it.

It seems like there were a number of other correspondents that would have been a better fit for that spot. Wilmore can be good in segments but just doesn't have the personality to carry his own 30 minute show. He just isn't interesting enough or dynamic at all.

I'vewatched it two or three times and I could not stand it. I can bear the keep it 100 segment, but i can not stand the panels. I don't want to hear comedians talking seriously about politics or race relations when it's clear that they don't know what they are talking about

In the last week where numbers were available, The Nightly Show had 229,000 viewers a night.

That's fricking abysmal. Colbert was getting over a million more viewers.

It would be interesting to see what Comedy Central is going to do. I think South Park and Tosh are coming back on soon, I'd rather just have reruns of that on
