For everyone all butt hurt about the marines...if you actually read the book he talks about how much he appreciated the marines in Iraq and loved fighting with them. He talks shite about the army and how they are a bunch of wimps.

His opinion about the military branches has the same relevance as the terd I just dropped. When will people realize that seals are just the navy's infantry. All the media attention as of late is a sore eye on the humble seals.

I really enjoyed this movie. The time jumps in this were better than the one in Zero Dark Thirty. (Spoilers)....My issue with Zero Dark Thirty is every time they did a time jump it was like, "here comes an explosion."

This movie though was just about following him. The movie was already over two hours I don't see how they could go in much more depth without being a three to four hour movie. The only character I wanted to know more on, was what happened with his brother but again the movie is not about him.

It was a very powerful movie and watching the crowds reaction after was proof of that. People can bash this movie all they want but I have never seen an entire theater so affected by a movie after it ended.

I just got out of it and could not agree more. The theater was quiet outside of a few crying during the credits.

It took me 15 min to get out of the theater, I think I heard two words the whole time we were leaving.

You obviously didn't go to the movies to see The Notebook.

Once it ended nobody in the theater made a noise. Probably the quietest exit to a movie I've ever experienced.

Just got out. Amazing movie!

Also toward the end I was wondering if there was going to be applause at the end, but it was dead silence as everyone left. Not even nervous chatter.

People in the theater clapped and cheered when Chris Kyle shot Mustafa. I was thinking about how much of a hero Mustafa must have been to his people, you know, defending his homeland from foreign invaders and all. It's crazy most Americans just don't see it that way. To us, he's just another terrorist/haji but over there, we're the terrorist to many of them.

I look d through two pages of this thread (so I don't if it's been said on page 3 or 4)...

But that was not a fake baby. I thought so at first, but at the last second, the baby's hand is visible and she curls her fingers.

The theater was completely silent when it was over. Never experienced that before. Powerful experience.

Wrong
Navy seals are the navy's special forces branch. Like Army Rangers and Force Recon Marines.

And it's SEAL's. A seal is a fricking mammal that you watch in a zoo

Good movie. Cooper was great

Felt like I was leaving a funeral after the ending. Theatre was sold out, but nobody said a word as we left.
