So does the quick shot of Chris Pratt's character on the dirt bike with the raptors mean we're gonna finally get the sequence from the Lost World book where Doc Thorne and Sara chase down a bunch of raptors using a motorcycle and a sniper rifle?

I just talked to an African grey parrot. He thought the idea of raptors and humans fighting together was a stupid idea too.

Some birds are. The only point was that therapoda dinosaurs, like velociraptors, are thought to have given rise to modern birds. You can make an inference based on the way raptor intelligence and social structure has been shaped in the books/movies that raptor training would be plausible. Perhaps in such a way that isn't so different from how humans have trained modern "raptors" such as hawks and falcons.

It could be completely cheesy in the movie, but I don't necessarily think it is a deal breaker. I'm more worried that the movie will have the same CGI team that worked on the Star Wars prequels. Some of scenes from the trailer looked like people walking around on a green screen set. Hopefully this gets fixed further in post production.
