You honestly think people would avoid a real life Jurassic Park because of a movie?

Or avoid a real life version of Alien?

Of course not, but I'm willing to bet a ton of people would go see that shite.

So does the quick shot of Chris Pratt's character on the dirt bike with the raptors mean we're gonna finally get the sequence from the Lost World book where Doc Thorne and Sara chase down a bunch of raptors using a motorcycle and a sniper rifle?

My guess is Pratt and the Raptors have a fragile mutual alliance, and that at some point there will be a fight between the Raptors/Pratt and the hybrid DRex.

Corvids, like crows, are very smart. They use meta tools, and even have been known to drop nuts near stop lights to allow traffic to crush them. They then eat the nuts after the cars move along.

African Grey Parrots can talk and even solve simple puzzles.

Not all birds are unintelligent.

It was Kelly and sarah in the book I believe and no; I do not believe this will match that.

I just talked to an African grey parrot. He thought the idea of raptors and humans fighting together was a stupid idea too.

So, the 114 of you who stuck up for the birds were right. They are pretty smart.

You've proven that you have the smarts of a bird.

Some birds are. The only point was that therapoda dinosaurs, like velociraptors, are thought to have given rise to modern birds. You can make an inference based on the way raptor intelligence and social structure has been shaped in the books/movies that raptor training would be plausible. Perhaps in such a way that isn't so different from how humans have trained modern "raptors" such as hawks and falcons.

It could be completely cheesy in the movie, but I don't necessarily think it is a deal breaker. I'm more worried that the movie will have the same CGI team that worked on the Star Wars prequels. Some of scenes from the trailer looked like people walking around on a green screen set. Hopefully this gets fixed further in post production.

Are people seriously dumb enough to think all the dinosaurs are just friendly and the velociraptors are trained to help the humans hunt the hybrid? Whole buncha idiots up in here....

Yeah, and I clearly saw a human riding a motorcycle trying to get away from something desperately, along with other frightened dinosaurs.

People actually think the velociraptors are strategically hunting with a man on a moped?!? fricking dummies
