Three episodes in and damn, this is getting intense. So good.

The ONLY gripe I have so far (7 eps in) is that they didn't spend any money to show off Jessica's or Luke's powers. They toss people, sure, but I want to see people actually get hurled 15 feet into a wall, not Jess grabbing someone, and then a cut to a guy falling over. I wish they would show her leaping through the air, not just a shot of her leaving her feet, and then cut to her landing. And they made a point of showing NY's skyline. It couldn't have cost THAT much to insert Stark tower. Also - Daredevil? Is this before or after the Kingpin shite went down?

Yep. She nailed this roll.

3 episodes in, and its better than Daredevil....Easily.
I too want to know if this is concurrent with the Daredevil season, or is it after.

I think this show starts in the middle of Daredevil season 1 timing wise

I wouldn't say this is better than Daredevil, but DD also has so much history to lean on.
Jessica Jones really just has the one mini-series,which in this case is to her advantage.
If I had to bet for Netflix Phase 2 is that some combo of Cage/Fist/Jones are Heroes for Hire.

I thought I read that they were going to use the Defender name instead of Heroes for Hire.
And I can't wait until I get a chance to check this out. I don't know when, but I will be trying to make time.

I haven't watched daredevil yet. Do I need to watch it before this?

well I worded that carefully, because DD is the guy obsessed with "Defending"-Hell's Kitchen, his clients, etc.
Cage and Jones are more financially motivated or at least motivated by different scenarios. They wouldn't charge poor people the same as rich people.
I could see The Defenders basically being DD convincing those two to be pro bono publico heroes on occasion.
As for Rand?Well be is the monkey wrench in this case.

Kilgraves is the most dangerous villian introduced in the MCU so far
Posted on 11/20/15 at 7:39 pm to Sammobile
I'm on the third episode and this is exceeding expectations. And I think Krysten Ritter is as fine as frog hair and I'm a giant Doctor Who nerd, so my expectations were sky high. I'm trying to think of what shows I watch that are better than this, and all I can say is Better Call Saul, Broad City and Silicon Valley

I wouldn't say dangerous. Maybe sadistic and insidious. Thanos is the most dangerous. He's basically a cosmic demi-god.
edit: woops beat me to it

Just spotted an Easter egg in Episode 5- Newspaper has what appears to be Hulk on the front page with (partially blocked)headline saying "Under Siege" It has to be the city in Africa. which would make this around the time of AoU-at least so far.
eta: also shows a kid in a AoU style Cap uniform.

Good show so far. I'm 3 episodes in. Not as good as Daredevil, but I do like the idea of people with superpowers in this setting. It kind of has an Unbreakable tone.

That first episode was seriously one of the best hours of TV I have seen in a long time.

First episode sucks balls
Too Many cringeworthy scenes and one liners, a batman forever feel to the forced dialogue and cheesy conversations with such witty rebuttals!

3 episodes in, not quite DD. Good none the less.
