It's worth mentioning how hot the actress playing Trish Walker (aka Hellcat) is...

She was the hot Australian chick in Transformers 1.

This was good. Real good. Slightly better than DD which was damn good in its own right. Kilgrave is a monster....literally

I'm through episode 8. All the stabbing and cutting with knives in this show make my skin crawl. I'm loving it(the show), though

I'm glad to hear they didn't back on Purple Man fron how he is in the comics. I was worried Netflix/Marvel wouldn't go thar far with him.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS:
I just finished it, and I have to say I was very impressed. Might be one of the best shows of the year. Period. In fact, if they removed powers from everyone, and just made it a woman vs. a sadistic serial killer/rapist, it still would have been badass. I likes Night Nurse appearing, but i was slightly disappointed DD didn't show up. Claire's appearance does raise the question of why Jess, Hellcat, or Cage didn't bring up the entire Devil of Hell's Kitchen thing that happened. That had to have been a big deal for those in the neighborhood, and it had JUST taken place.

I love it just as much as I did Daredevil. It feels darker.

Yes, it was top notch all the way through. Not sure if I liked it better than Daredevil, but the two are very close in quality.
One thing that bugged me till the end though....
mild spoilerish:
It was really annoying me with the lack of earplug/headphone usage, though at least they used it in the last episode finally. Otherwise it was a well done and tightly wound storyline.

I'm 2 episodes in, pretty good show so far. I'm really liking Krysten Ritter, she's killing it. I will say that I don't really care for Luke Cage, I don't feel he's needed. I'm not sure how the rest of the show will go and maybe he'll grow on me, but the show works great with just Ritter doing her thing. JMHO.

I just finished episode 4 - and holy shite am i loving this show. having no knowledge of the comic or material it is based on has left me feeling like i was at a disadvantage to liking the show.
and really dig the casting of Luke Cage - he just nails the part.

I liked the Daredevil reference without actually naming him.

SPOILERS:
I just finished binge watching. It was great!! I loved Ritter in this and I want to raid her jacket closet.
I couldn't watch a lot of the cutting and gore things. Definitely had to turn my head. This really had a lot of twists and turns; I'm not familiar with the storylines of the comics but was fully entertained. I was hooked from the start of watching it.
Killgrave is a true evil, sadistic bastard. One episode I did feel a 'little' bad for him, but that quickly dissipated.

Midway I realized that Simpson had his haircut styled like Steve Rogers in the MCU. This was deliberate.
Nuke is awesome.

I have a feeling that Simpson will return in Daredevil season 3. Nuke is a villain from the Daredevil: Born Again storyline.

You see I was thinking that the Defenders(+ Hellcat) take on IGH or whomever is behind that.
and speaking of IGH-Inhuman Growth Hormone is too obvious, so?

I just got finished with the show and it was excellent. It will be interesting to see Luke Cage's story arc in his series and just how he goes about meeting Danny "Iron Fist" Rand.

I am wondering exactly how much of the "Luke Cage"series takes place in present day.
I'd imagine a good part of it takes place in the past, otherwise Jones would remain a big part of his life.
Maybe a on the road series as looks for answers, but his origin is pretty good.
Also, he should be living in Harlem when this goes on.

This show interests me.
I've never really watched the Marvel shows like Daredevil.
Do have to have seen anything else in order to watch this?
