stopped reading here. It's a frickin TV show. We didn't learn how to cheat school and treat women from Zack Morris any more than we learned to disrespect our parents and be shiteheads from Bart Simpson.

The only issue I have with Zach was how much of an arse hole he is to his best friend, screech. Granted, Screech was a dumb arse. But they bullied the shite out of him.

Sometimes I wonder if Project Pat's hit singe "Don't Save Her" was about what Zach's attitude towards Kelly should have been after her relationship with Jeff, the popular USC student.

Screech was lucky that he could hang with the cool kids. The fact that Zack let that freek be part of the gang shows how much of a good guy that he is.

Screech should be thanking his lucky stars that instead of spending his high school career with melvin and the nerds he got to spend it with by far the coolest kids at bayside.

Without Zack, Screech would've been toiling in the pits of anonymous dork hell with Big Pete, Frog and the gang worshipping at the feet of evil dork tyrant Maxwell Nerdstrom.

Zack allowed Screech to hang with him, be a part of the in crowd and rise far above his station, even as Screech constantly fricked up Zack's noble plans with his bumbling carelessness. He even threw him some leftovers occaisionally. (Belding's fine arse niece, for example--one if many sure thing Screech managed to frick up).

And Bully!? Really? Screech put his hands on Zack, tore his expensive shirt and stomped on his foot in front of the whole school. Zack would've been totally within his rights to pummel Screech. He showed remarkable restraint.

Zack is the dude you let in your fraternity because he brings around hot girls and has the appearance of being a cool guy. He isn't the guy who brings substance, he constantly ruins parties and events, and eventually drops out after his junior year

Zack Morris didn't care about school, he actively looked for ways to get out of class (like being the photographer), he didn't care about class assignments, and he did poorly on tests and graded subjects. Yet he miraculously still gets into Yale thanks to a great ACT score, thus teaching us to coast through high school because your grades really don't matter.

The SAT gauges how smart you are, not how hard you try. So Zack was coasting because he didn't need to put in the time...he already had the knowledge in him. Now, if we want to get into a discussion as to how much bullshite it was that Zack got a 1502 on the SAT we can, cuz if he was that smart on verbal and math, he would've gotten good grades to begin with.
quote:

Now let's look at interactions with people

Zack was selfish, he was constantly using people to get what he wants, and convincing people to go a long with him and what he wants. He routinely is making wagers on peoples lives and interfering in their life to win his wager. This teaches us that people are just there for us to use and persuade to use to our advantage.

Zack was a winner; a go-getter. Often times, he was two steps ahead of everyone else, and sometimes profited from that. But rarely did he take advantage of people to the point where it hurt them. Sure, maybe Kelly got a concussion because Zack wanted to teach Slater a lesson about gloating just because he could drive a golf cart. But that wasn't his intention for her to get hurt, it was a byproduct of Slater being a dumbass and steering into the lockers instead of down the hall when the brakes weren't working.

But below all of that, he was a good guy who cared about his friends...he was just hard-headed about doing stupid shite.

And you say that he was selfish, but would a selfish person dress up as Slater to try to save him from going to military school so he could pursue his dream of wrestling at Iowa? Or dress up as an old lady to help Jessie spy on Slater and Jennifer because Jessie was so upset? Save the senior prom from being cancelled by suggesting a hoe down? Or save the senior production of Swan Pond when Big Pete went out with injury (even though that was fake, Mr. Belding and Mr. Lazare didn't know that)..? Or vote for Kelly in the Miss Liberty pageant, even though he wanted to frick Stacy and had Carosi breathing down his neck and threatening to fire him? Or try to save the beach club when they had booked the Thornhill's anniversary party the same night as Jenny Richter's 16th birthday party? Or take the school into the 90s by heading up the making of the video yearbooks..? Or when he called Johnny Dakota out for being a weedhead, ratting him out to Belding because he wanted to protect the integrity of the school, and then turned around and starred in an anti drug campaign for NBC? Or when he participated in the date auction to help raise money for new cheerleader uniforms? Etc. Etc. Etc.
quote:

Next, treatment of women

Zack doesn't deserve Kelly, he uses her, lies to her, manipulates her, and still ends up with her. His treatment of Kelly teaches us that it's okay to manipulate, ignore, and give no priority to the woman in our life, we can just sweet talk her and end up with her anyway.

Dude, first of all, Zack had 86 girlfriends in high school. How is a pimp like that supposed to keep up with all of that? Secondly, I won't argue that he didn't treat her like shite sometimes, but let's not forget that his "most important" girlfriend wasn't such a great person. Let's see:

- she basically fricked Slater on Cut Day even though he was not only dating one of her best friends, but he is best friends with her ex.
- Zack was supposed to be her one true love, yet she fricking cheated on him with that jerk Jeff solely because he was hot and she wanted to move into management (IMO).
- Let's not forget that not long after that, when Zack found out Jeff was cheating on her at the Attic, and he tried to tell her, instead of realizing that he was right and being a good friend, all she did was get pissed off at hime and yell at him about being jealous. What an ungrateful bitch.
- At one point, she tried to dress up as a blonde stranger and seduce Zack into cheating on her...only batshit crazy chicks do that.
- When Zack was confused about his feelings for nurse Jennifer, Kelly straight up gives him the ring back and immediately goes out with Melvin Nerdley ("You can call me Mel"). How bout you mourn for two seconds, bitch.
- In the dating tapes episode, she is dating Zack, yet tries to "teach him a lesson" by fricking Vince Montana and literally "got caught making out all over campus." That goes farther than just teaching him a lesson, you count.
- Or how bout when she knew Zack was crazy about her in ninth grade, but she flirted with Slater anyway, and even went with him to school dances, Casey Kasem dance competitions, etc.
- When Zack wanted to go to the George Michael concert with Kelly, she fricked him over and wanted to go with Screech, all because he taught her a little fricking bit of science.

And that's just off the top of my head...I'm sure there are more.
quote:

In conclusion Zack taught a whole generation that they could lie, cheat, manipulate people, not care about school, and use their friends to better themselves and come out clean on the other side. Zack is so self righteous and cares so little about social norms he even BREAKS THE 4th WALL in order to explain himself, something nobody else gets to do, and he certainly shouldn't be either. So Zack Morris, you are what's wrong with the young people of today, I hope you're happy!

Brah, Zack Morris was the epitome of America. Not only was he popular, but he played sports (pretty well, I might add), did a little hustling on the side for extra cash, made Hollywood friends, hung out with not only the biggest jock in school but also the biggest nerd/geek, fricked the head cheerleader and class president (along with every hot chick that crossed his path), aced the SATs, was environmentally conscious (stopped CalStar Oil from invading Bayside and even protested styrofoam cups from being used), was on/in multiple committees and school clubs, tried to write a new class song, and hell...even likely banged a teacher or two (I'm looking at you, Miss Wentworth).

Let me guess...you liked that bitch AC Slater, didn't you..?
