Or when he called Johnny Dakota out for being a weedhead, ratting him out to Belding because he wanted to protect the integrity of the school, and then turned around and starred in an anti drug campaign for NBC?
Damn. That's fricked up. I don't think being a rat supports your defense of Zack very well. You had me up till this. The guy needed to learn some boundaries and mind his own business on occasion.

This might be the greatest post in TD history?

It wasn't anybody he was loyal to, so NBD. He saw through Johnny Dakota's ruse that he was a good spokesman for an anti drug campaign and didn't want Bayside to support someone who says one thing and then does the opposite. That's a horrible role model for kids to look up to, and Zack recognized that and did something about it.
You saw how pissy JD got and that's the dude you side with?

Also, my post got me thinking about my old "SBTB backstabbing and infidelity" thread...from that thread (which is on Classics):
quote:
I was thinking about this yesterday...ever notice how much infidelity and general douchebaggery went on dring Saved By The Bell?
Examples:
- In 8th grade, Zack takes Shana to the dance, even though he knows Mikey has a crush on her. At first, it's not Zack's fault, cuz she asked him to the dance, and he didn't know about Mikey's feelings, but then after he finds out, and Mikey warns him not to take her, he does anyway just to spite him.
- On the Cut Day episode, Jessie and Slater basically cheat on each other...Jessie falls for Graham, and Slater parties with Kelly all day.
- Also, Slater knows Kelly is his best friend's ex, yet he hangs with her anyway. Good thing Zack's 85 other girlfriends were there to keep him company.
- When Slater's sister JB comes to Bayside, Zack basically makes the move on her even though Slater is not cool with it. I guess "Steam up The Windows" Morris doesn't give a frick about his best friend.
- Even worse was the Snow White and the 7 (8) Dorks episode when Zack was with Kelly, and Slater was with Jessie, and Zack and Jessie cheat on them with each other.
- Malibu Sands block of shows...Stacey falls for Zack and leads him on, even though she knows damn well she has a boyfriend back home in Boston. Also, how old was she? Craig Strand was in college, and Zack was in the summer of his senior year.
- In their senior year, when Slater's ex-girlfriend comes to Bayside, Zack immediately goes for her. He knows Slater isn't cool with it, yet does it anyway.
- Also in their senior year, Zack makes a move on Lisa, knowing that Screech, his best friend for life, has been in love with her forever. He does say that if Screech doesn't like it, that he won't see Lisa, but bottom line is that he should have known better anyway.
- Kelly, who always played such a sweetheart, cheated on Zack with Jeff, just because he was good looking and her boss (and in college). And Zack was supposed to be her true love.
- Also, only a little while later, Jeff was cheating on Kelly with that chick at the Attic.
- In the Date Auction episode, Zack is obviously talking to Lydia (even though he calls her Linda...does she really expect Zack to keep up with the names of all his whores..?), yet he "wins" a date with fatty Wendy. And he blows her off at the dance because Wendy is hungry and Zack is gonna take her to the Max. This isn't really fricking anybody over (for once), but it's just a general dick move by Zack.
- In the SAT's episode, Heather accepts the "study date" with Zack, even though she had a boyfriend. Now, in her defense, she did invite Bob to the date, but still...you mean to tell me that a chick that went to Bayside didn't know about the pimpness of Zack Morris? No fricking way.
- Chess episode, Allison only dates Guy-Guy because he has money.
- At one point, even though reluctant, Zack goes out with Nicki, Kelly's sister while he and Kelly are dating.
- In the Nurse Jennifer one, Zack asks Kelly to go steady, only to turn right around and ditch her for the school nurse.
- Same episode, Kelly rebounds pretty fricking fast when she goes out with Melvyn Nerdley, Screech's buddy.
- In the Dating Tape episode, Kelly is dating Zack, but goes out with Vince Montana. She is just teaching Zack a lesson, but is making out with the dude "all over campus." Slut.
- The Jim Diamond episode, Screech, knowing full well that Tori and Zack are dating...acts like he and Tori are together.
- And let's not forget when Zack and Slater wrecked each others' dates with the new chick, Joanna Peterson...which of course leads to the badassest fight in tv history.
All in all, how good of friends were all these people? Seems like all they did was backstab and cheat on each other... Bottom line is that SBTB was clearly not a good model for solid relationships.

Most of those things he did out of the goodness of his heart were done to get out if school, influence someone's decision, get close to a girl, ect...

Nah, not these:
- And you say that he was selfish, but would a selfish person dress up as Slater to try to save him from going to military school so he could pursue his dream of wrestling at Iowa?
- Save the senior prom from being cancelled by suggesting a hoe down?
- Or save the senior production of Swan Pond when Big Pete went out with injury (even though that was fake, Mr. Belding and Mr. Lazare didn't know that)..? NOTE: this one is arguable because he needed the credit to graduate, but it wasn't just for himself.
- Or vote for Kelly in the Miss Liberty pageant, even though he wanted to frick Stacy and had Carosi breathing down his neck and threatening to fire him?
- Or try to save the beach club when they had booked the Thornhill's anniversary party the same night as Jenny Richter's 16th birthday party? Or take the school into the 90s by heading up the making of the video yearbooks..?
- Or when he called Johnny Dakota out for being a weedhead, ratting him out to Belding because he wanted to protect the integrity of the school, and then turned around and starred in an anti drug campaign for NBC?
- Or when he participated in the date auction to help raise money for new cheerleader uniforms?
So maybe two or three of them were sort of selfish, but most of them were not.
Also, you can't hate on a high school kid trying to get out of school...that's like part of being in high school.

It's not his fault that fat whore Wendy Parks bought him at the auction. And his dick move on her is beside the point that he participated in the date auction to help with new cheerleader unis.
Your jealous hatred of the blonde Tom Cruise is disheartneing. : /
