IMO, no but I really liked this movie. All this talk about John Wick, I want to watch it again. Would be a solid addition to the blu-ray collection.

I think a lot of people are seeing it for the first time because it's on HBO right now.
I'll say it's one of the most unique/refreshing movies of the last five years. I wouldn't say it's the "best."

Is it really that good to everryone? It was an entertaining movie, but it did not have the effect on me that its apparently had on those on this board. Whiplash, was a great movie.... John Wick was an entertaining movie. Its just a revenge action movie. Not the deepest plot, but well done. I dont get the love. Its nice to have an action movie that was well done, so I get that its liked. But I think we need to differentiate between that and best movie in the last 5 years.

I thought I was this movie's biggest champion and then others went nuts over it. It's a fantastic action, revenge thriller. It is not some masterpiece.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago for the first time and it was awesome. I was pretty drunk and I became very distressed when they killed the beagle. If anyone ever killed my beagle, I'd do the exact same shite.

I just watched it on HBO last night after seeing the threads on here. Very solid action revenge based movie and I really enjoyed it. I still like Shooter better but I would rewatch John Wick again and it was nice to see Theon Greyjoy get what was coming to him
