It's a Mattel electronic football game from the early 80's. Not sure of the exact name of the game, but I had one back in the day........

I used to have a Coleco (I think). Mine was a little older, only had the dashes, instead of the player shapes.

And MAN, was that thing addictive. I remember you used to be able to "cheat", start out as a pass, and switch to a run mid-play. That would let you move the receiver around to line up killer blocks.

The one I had looked like Quills, but mine also just had red dashes. As another posted stated, I think the graphics screen was modified by Quill.

No, which was disappointing.

The only thing I really didn't like in the entire movie was the lack of tie-in/advancement in the post-credits scene(s). I guess I've just become accustomed to it, but to not see anything leading up to Infinity War was surprising. It makes me wonder if we will see GotG at all in the first installment or if they will be introduced post-credits of that one and show up in the 2nd half.

No. And if you haven't seen the movie yet, I'd advise you not to read the thread until you do. There are some major spoilers in here.

I believe there are reports that Gunn and some of the cast have ties/already been involved.

I don't think you can leave them out of this, even if it is just to deliver Hulk back to Earth.

Another line where I felt I was the only one laughing. Although, I did have two baies, and at least 10-12 6 and unders in my theater at the very least. Maybe those parents realized that maybe the whole PG-13 thing was legitimate?

It looks like a billion dollar take on Vol. 2. My guess is that they're now looking for ways to beef up their involvement in the Infinity movies.

But Pratt has been on set for that from the start. I thought the major selling point of the Infinity Wars was the combining of the GOTG and Avengers universes.

Considering they made a joke about jizz in the first one I'd say this one was pretty mild

I'm actually suprised they didn't push the avengers in that direction in some way at the end of Vol. 2,

I kind of assumed the final end credit was going to maybe be Stark or someone else tied to The Avengers in Missouri looking at that bubbling shite that Ego jump started from space and mention that it was stopped by someone out there, etc.

Also...speaking of end credits, was I the only one who seemed to see Jeff Goldblum's character from Thor Ragnorak during the credit scenes with the still images sort of moving like animated gifs? He wasn;t in the movie at all as far as I know, but I'd swear I saw him on the right side of the crawl at one point.

Nevermind...it was him!

I brought my almost 6 year old. I think he was young enough for some of the jokes to go over his head, but definitely wasn't expecting that much true PG-13 stuff. There was a good bit more cursing as well.

Had the jokes been more like the painting joke about Quill's ship in teh first one, and even the sex jokes at the beginning of this one about doing the gold girl, i'd be good since a 6 year old has no idea what they are talking about. But talking about penis's and how sex works was a little much.

The entire cast of GOTG is listed as cast members on Infinity, even the bit time people like Nebula, so I assume they have some sort of major involvement in the movie. Pratt is a money maker, can't see them putting him on the sidelines for that.

But the cast for Infinity is like 18 IMDB pages long

Spot on for the tone and the characters. I really hope they don't make it lighter.

#1 biggest worry.

They have a thin line to handle for this one. Nothing tells me they can't do it, but it will be super easy to completely mishandle.

They need to pick 2 or 3 core characters and let everyone else be bit players/background noise.

They just need a couple of scenes like the panels in Comic Books that would have have a battle with every major icon on it. They are there, and we can see them, yay, but that's about it. Honestly, I don't need Groot talking to anyone. And probably not Banner either.

Someone, I forget who, Feige or the Russos probably, said the GOTG will not come to Earth in Infinity War. We may get to see them interact with Captain Marvel though.

Yea, I saw him. Someone said they thought they saw Hulk in one of the "jumps" Yondu and Rocket were making. Perhaps it was during his and Thor's fight.
