It seems like the show has slowed down in an effort to let the books create a buffer.

I think the actor who plays Tommen is only 17 and would have been around 16 when they filmed that scene. I'm sure that he had to wear about 8 pairs of spandex drawers to hide his "excitement " during that scene.

Overall I thought it was a very solid episode. It was good to have a break from daenerys for a change.

Nothing about these storylines, save for Dany because she is just slow, are slowing. They are all picking up steam, IMO.

I think Jon was going to have mercy on him when he said he would go... But he followed that up with I'm scared, I've always been scared.
