This is a veeery interesting though. What's Varys' goal though? Why help Jorah?

But Cersei's downtrodden, taking-it-on-the-chin act just reeks of subterfuge.

I don't think it's an act - her power has ultimately always relied on having Tywin backing her. With him dead and Margaery seeming to have Tommen wrapped up, her influence is greatly diminished. The only real power she seems to still have is sitting on the small council, but I think Margaery is going to have Tommen relieve her of those duties soon.

Maybe I'm just a brain dead Khal Drago but I thought it was just serendipitous for Jorah to run into the imp at that brothel after Tyrion was spouting off about his family.

But I do think given Varys and Jorah's history; Varys will have a bargaining chip in getting back Tyrion or at least coming to a mutual beneficial (to Varys and Jorah anyway) agreement with Jorah regarding Tyrion's fate.

Maybe he has a reason for wanting Jorah back in good graces with Dany. Doesn't like his replacement?

I mean, its just spitballing. But you would think that as much as Varys knows, that he'd notice Jorah being in the brothel

Why is it crazy? We already know that Jorah was spying on Dany for the Lannisters via Varys. And Varys has already told Tyrion that his end game is to put Dany on the Iron Throne. So I could definitely see the possibility that Varys was always playing Jorah (when Jorah thought he was spying for the Lannisters) in order to further his plan to put Dany on the throne.

I'm in the other side of this fan theory. How would he know what brothEl to send him to? How did he know where they would stop on the way to volantis? Too many loose ends for me to agree with this one.

That could be true, but I just think Varys goes wherever the tide takes him. He has spies and allies everywhere so I don't think he needs to pick a side until he finds someone that he knows can win.

I wouldn't be surprised if Varys and Jorah are in cahoots (like they were in Season 1) - they both have similar desires that are in line with each other's apparent goals.
