It would be hilarious if they recast her. It's already weird as frick with the new Daario.

And completely agree that she's a bad actress. It's a good thing she's pretty/hot, because she's one of the most wooden actors on the show.

Main reason I can not respect her.

I can actually support a female actress that is oppose to nude scenes. I get it if that is how you feel and you have a strict belief about it...that is cool if you refrain and hold your ground on the matter.

Halle Berry/Julia Roberts plenty of respectable actresses have made careers out of their natural appeal and substance. Most respectable actresses pave their way without succumbing to nude scenes early in their careers in order to achieve fame.

Emilia Clarke took a role knowing what it was and used it to get famous. She did not believe she would get the part if she turned down the requirements of the role. It was not until years after the fact that she voiced how she felt about it after the show had already committed to her and refused to carry on doing those scenes.

Not only does she speak out about her role which no longer requires her to do any nude work but the entire show as a whole. GOT is the no.1 rated show on TV...and you want to change part of the format...lol.

Emilia Clarke is not a good actress/Her character is one of the worst in the show. Plenty of other actors/actresses have done far more with less like Natalie Tena

If it wasn't for being beautiful she wouldn't have the part. Certainly not on the basis of her (bad) acting.

sort of, but she became truly famous when she started taking off her clothes and doing superhero movies....and she gained respectability after her Oscar win (which was won by getting boned, rumored to have actually happened).

fwiw, I agree about Roberts, but not Berry. She is as a sexualized actress there is.

I don't think Clarke became famous because she did nude scenes in GoT. Although I agree with everyone that she's not a good actress, clearly many seasons in she's pretty irreplaceable, which is why she has the leverage to declare she will not abide more nude screen time.

Besides, poor acting is a much better reason to replace an actress than her refusal to do nude scenes, which are hardly essential to the show's appeal at this point.

Oh I was not implying she was a respectable actress. I was implying that her moral stance shouldnt have sprouted 3 seasons later.. I find it hypocritical that she blasts nudity while shooting nude scenes and cashing that dirty money.
