Good thread for the day after Thanksgiving, until then, let's chat about horror films.

Thank you. I mean, Christ. Way too early to talk about Christmas films.

That’s why I said Black Christmas. I was gonna give the same reason. Best of both worlds.

Since I have kids in the house, all the previous mentioned movies, plus...

A Madea Christmas.

Nothing better than watching pre-teens laugh at off-color comedy.

Good list, but Nightmare Before Christmas needs to be included.

Very underrated comedy, that just so happens to be a Christmas movie too. I watch it every year. Hilarious !

I'm extremely confident that's the movie I've seen the most. Well over 100 times. It never gets old. I don't typically watch it in October though.

Usually watch it the Friday after Thanksgiving. Kicks off the Christmas season for me. Cannot even begin to count how many times I've seen it.

Christmas Story, hands down. Wife hates it and we don't have cable, but fortunately I have it on DVD and have to make time for it every year. Always worth it.

White Christmas, which the wife loves. She dances and she can't get enough of this one.

I ordinarily include It's a Wonderful Life, and no doubt it's a classic, but it's really only a Christmas movie by default, the fact that it ends on Christmas. And it's depressing as hell.

Honorable mentions:

-The Santa Clause
-Ernest (RIP) Saves Christmas
-Home Alone
-Miracle on 34th Street (in memory of my mother)

As is the foul mouthed Margot Kidder pre-Superman.

But as far as what I must watch every Christmas:

Christmas Vacation
Miracle on the 34th Street
It's A Wonderful Life
Bad Santa
