Mysterious Skin

I laughed. I love Mysterious Skin fwiw. I'm with you though. They needed to cut out all of that other bullshite and answer the questions we all wanted to know- did Joseph Gordon-Levitts team win that game? Was the dude actually a good manager? I felt robbed that there was no championship game scene at the end.

I've always been disappointed with most baseball movies... they never seem to live up to a real baseball game... nor do they bring in the emotional attachment that I actually have for the game.

So, the best three baseball movies for me:
The Sandlot
A League of their own
Moneyball

yeah, believe it or not, I'm not a chick - but those 3 movies really focus on how a person can really love the sport, have it let you down and still make you want to come back for more.
