Well, that would be interesting. Finally, someone unrelated to the Bates being accused of murder.

It's unfortunate that Branson is such a left wing loony that he decided to become a Soviet spy.

Didn't Barrow start the investigation by sending a letter?

Inside joke. Watch The Imitation Game and you'll understand what I mean.

I always thought Mr. Molesley's modest ascent through the ranks was a nice side story. I always find myself pulling for him.
Its still a wonderful show.
Is it AS GOOD as the first 3 seasons? No.
But "not as good" isn't the same as "not good".
If you don't want to watch the damn show, don't watch it.

ETA: Would have just further affirmed that Robert has no clue what is really going on at DA
Robert has actually been quite on top of things this season.
He understood best about the memorial.
He saw the best way to go through with building new homes.
He saw through the art experts moves on Cora.

Actually, I think it originated from growing up in a large family. On the rare occasions when everyone was gone, it drove me crazy. Had a big adjustment when I finally got my first apt by myself. I got over it, though!
As the youngest of 4 kids growing up in a 3 bedroom, 1 bath house, maybe I'm perfectly set up to understand and enjoy the wonderful sense of silence.

I actually think at his core, he IS decent.
But his "secret" makes him seek at any cost PROTECTION that he can use to maintain his "secret".

Damn you DA for making me cry tonight
Posted on 2/16/15 at 12:34 am to lsunurse
What made you cry? Proposal? Old lady Crawley getting shite on by stepsons? Edith's torment? Bates and Anna planning for old age? A sick dog?

The dog
I was really hoping she was just pregnant.

Isis isn't a good name these days.
Better episode tonight.

I'm ready for the Bates issue to be settled. That story line is getting old

Poor Isis. Great dog.
Much much better episode. Finally picking up some steam, more like earlier seasons. Only 2 more to go right?

I think so. It did pick up a little steam, but no story lines I care to follow for weeks or years, in the case of the show. They need to move on along with all the current story lines. Edith's storyline gave us something new to watch, but it's not going to carry the series, by any means. Definitely tired of the Bates story.
I'm not interested in seeing Isis pass away. They can just get a new puppy and let us know why. I don't want to go through anything more than that.
The Dowager once again has the best lines.
"He's a man. Men don't have rights."
Mary was as cold as ice about the dog and Edith. Her character continues to become unlikeable.
I was surprised that Daddy Grantham gave in to Edith bringing in a child so easily. I guess they used the condition of Isis as a way to get him to agree. He was concerned about the dog and not the unknown child moving into the house with his other grandchildren. That just didn't seem very realistic to me. I didn't find it believable. I guess he'll complain later.
Rose has never sparked much interest for me. She's sort of a filler and not compelling.
I was surprised at Anna doing a little gossiping. That was probably the most startling scene of the show. She's normally against that sort of thing.
