All I know is I HAD DirecTV and I lost that shite when I moved to Savannah. Stupid fricking trees!!! I had to get Comcast and I'm super goddamn bummed about it. I LOVED DIRECTV!!!

Hell, I just got my TV service stuff installed today and the main cock-sucking DVR doesn't let me see the fricking channels I pay for. The living room DVR shows all of them, but the den....NOPE! Da frick? I hate it so goddamn much I want to kick a crippled kitten down the fricking street!!!!!

I've had DISH For 14 years now, no complaints other than they want to charge me shipping when a receiver goes out. I fuss and they drop it. I call once a year to complain that they give big discounts to new customers and not loyal customers and they give me the new customer discount for that year.

I've done things similar to this countless times.

I've had both and prefer Dish. Directv doesn't carry Cox Sports.

Prefer dish, since the Hooper was so much faster. I have heard the newest genie boxes have made it better.

Dish just gives you more value with their dish anywhere with sling box.

Now if you want Sunday ticket you have no choice

To be clear, do you or do you not recommend Comcast?

I've had both and the answer is it really doesn't matter.

fixed

Both of them have their pros and cons. After the bullshite I went through with Direct TV I said I would never use them again, and then I went through different yet equally frustrating bullshite with Dish.

I will say this though, once you get through the 2 year service plan, their customer service becomes MUCH better.
