What's the MTVs thoughts on this movie?

I always felt it was a good popcorn flick. Had some cheesy stuff but overall prettt good action.

Crichton ripped off Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar. Crichton's book was better than the film. The film was mindless fun.

As far as Crichton adaptations go, this one was middle of the pack. Book was better.

I hated the stupid ending. The book is great and scared me as a kid.

It's ok. Hard to hate a movie that has Tim Curry and Ernie Hudson.

Like most of the Micheal Crichton novel adaptations you have to deal w/a large amount of needless (often negative) changes that seem to be there purely b/c the director/writer/producer felt the need to make it their own.

Who was the M/TV poster who saw the movie as a kid and thought that Amy was a real gorilla... only to watch it as an adult and realize the truth.
