People really think he's funnier on Tv/movies than standup?

that darwish v. kanye bit is still one of my favorite standup bits of all time

I thought it was pretty funny but sometimes his voices can be a little grating.

If I had to rank them:

Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening
Buried Alive
Live at MSG
Dangerously Delicious

His first R Kelly bit is one of my all-time favorites.

I thought it was the worst Aziz show yet

I turned it off. I thought it was terrible.

Yep I turned it off as well after about 14 minutes. I guess he doesn't fit my sense of humor anymore. I'm sure his stand up is still funny to some but even the crowd in that 14 min I watched didn't draw a huge laugh.

Watch his performance in Philadelphia. His entire encore was about a charity event and his interactions with Seal, Obama, and a few other individuals.

He named dropped Obama, but it didn't come off to me as trying to name-drop. You have an interaction with the president, and have something to say about it. I guess it would be smart to try and incorporate that into an act.

Also, the entire Seal thing was him saying Seal had no idea who he was.

I think my favorite part was when he was reading Ashley's text messages out loud to the crowd.

I just finished it

It was really up and down but I liked it overall

He NAILED the being single skit. That bit could've been the entire show and I would've been happy. Probably doesn't hit as well if you haven't been single in today's world though. I was dying

He did that in Houston too

I saw the show live when he rolled through. It wasn't his best, but still funny

I love Aziz on Parks and his spots in movies. I have watched all of his standup and I'm just like meh.

I feel like he goes to set-up jokes and then just moves on to something. He does have some funny bits.

Aziz stand up just isn't as funny as he is on shows and in movies IMO

Agreed, just doesn't do anything for me.

Felt slow to me at some points, but still hilarious. The being single part was one of the most accurate things i've ever heard.

He did this at the show in BR, sounds like this was on the same tour. It was hilarious

My wife and I watched this last night. She thought some of his other stand up was hilarious. This did not measure up. That being said, we both laughed at times.

The social issues angle many of his lead ins had dragged on too long for me. Get to the joke already.

I like Aziz but the way he name drops rappers and stuff seems desperate and really bothers me for some reason, and it isn't really my type of humor. A lot of his stuff is really great though.
