I thought the tarp was a great idea and you can also use it to collect water and in salty areas you could use it to turn salt water to fresh.
I add that to Machette, Pot and firestarter as the best tools.
I feel like they need to give every one a pot and a firestarter. I think it's crazy that some people get a magnesium firestarter and some get a wood and twine firestarter.

Some end up hating the guy.One couple in particular were the best of friends.

Watched one where it was two couples that ended up meeting up on an island. the two guys and older female ended up turning on the younger female who wasn't doing snit. It was comical. There was an "intervention."

This is a good explanation on my feelings. Its not really the "Naked" that draws me in. More of the test.
I have always watched these shows thinking, I could do that shite. Like survivor, etc.

I think people underestimate the naked part and the effect it has because some the people on the show seem legit with their skills going in and still struggle.

Yep. Everyone saying they like "alone" and "surivorman" more because they show more skills... well they also are fully clothed/have shoes/have thousands of dollars worth of gear on them.

Did you see the one where the chick laid down by the fire, while the dude walked off, leaving the pot of boiling water resting on the stack of shifting embers? She was a real baller for staying in the game for several more days.
