Agree big time, especially with movies like age of ultron. Everyone is going to watch it, give them the slightest tease and be done

Looks like it's settled in at 73% overall and 71% top critics.

Pretty respectable I think.

Thought the OP might want to update the subject line.

Easily half the "Rotten" reviews say very little about the movie and seem to focus on how much it sucks that Wright didn't direct.

It's at 78%

For comparison purposes,

Jurassic World: 71%

Age of Ultron: 74%

Kingsman: 74%

American Sniper: 73%

These are all movies I've enjoyed fairly recently.

Looks like I know what I'll be seeing this weekend.

To be fair, some of the "fresh" reviews are pretty meh.

People see what they want to see.

I never thought that the movie was going to be terrible. I thought that it would be just another Marvel film.

With Wright gone we missed out on a unique Marvel film and lost out on Wright spending those years giving us another film. There'll be one less Edgar Wright film because Marvel waited seven years to change their minds.

Just saw it with the kids. I liked it, and definitely rate it in the 70's. A lot better than I expected. Douglas should have been someone else IMO, but like the rest of the characters.

I think it stays within the 75-79 range, which is a very solid showing. I'm actually pretty excited to see it tomorrow.
